It does the job
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted to go from an hdmi to mini display port so I could hook my Macbook pro or my lenovo work computer to my monitor at home. I already had an hdmi to hdmi cable, so this made things work for me. I later set up a monitor in another location for the same purpose and bought a Belkin cable that went from hdmi to mini display without an adapter needed. I like the i cable solution better.
