We love this ice maker!! We had a 50th birthday party and needed to make extra ice, it worked great. We had it on the bar, so they had fresh ice the whole time. Everyone that came to the party said they needed one of these. We loved the 2 sizes of ice, every 6 minutes, new ice!!

Oh my goodness do I love this counter top ice maker. I purchased for my cabin as my refridgerator does not have an ice maker. I used bottle water and seriously it is the best ice. You have to remove the ice from the basket when it becomes full but it definitely is worth this minimal effort to have an ample supply of ice stocked in the freezer. I wish I had purchased this sooner and saved myself the trouble of using ice cube trays.

This is a difficult review to right. Why? Because this stand alone icemaker does its job adequately, but your situation is important to the decision to buy one. If you have no access to a regular freezer with an icemaker and cannot add one into it, this is way better than having no ice maker at all. On the other hand, this price point will pay for enough store bought ice to build a snow man, his family, and some nose carrots too! It's a wonderfully engineered machine that makes a few handfuls an hour in smaller or larger size. Then you must put them into cold storage or a bucket in the freezer, right? The created cubes for me turned out wet so that when you put them in the freezer, they stuck together forming a giant cluster around my ice ladle. Nothing that a small hammer can't fix! Know at a built-in icemaker creates dry cubes that don't stick because the cubes never see room temperature. So, I think the design here could be better. The condenser probably uses a lot of electricity too. In short, not what I had hoped, so I'm having the manufacturers icemaker added to my freezer this week and this one will go back. Fun technology experiment though!

The fridge in my apartment doesn’t make ice, and I can’t stand ice trays, so this was a life saver. So fast and quiet! We let it fill up twice a day and it’s perfect!

We bought this because our Samsung refrigerator ice maker is a piece junk and always ot working. We use a lot of ice here in Arizona. This produces a gallon zip lock back of ice in a couple of hours.

Works great We are a family of ice eaters and we go through so much ice that our typical freezer does not produce enough so we got this and we have not had any problems it’s been wonderful It’s been over a year no problems at all great product totally recommend

The ice maker on our refridgerator said sayonara so we gave this portable ice maker a try. The size of each ice is a bit on the smaller size, but on the flip side, it makes ice efficiently, roughly one batch every 8-9 mins. Pretty happy overall with this but docking 1 star because the sensor to stop making ice does not seem very reliable. We've had this for a while now and still works like a champ otherwise!
