First off, don't let the price fool you! A great unit for the price & and backed by a large company (Best Buy, it their home brand)!
Super easy to set up. It took me less than 5 minutes to unpack it and up and running.
A few down sides but are extremely small...makes a small wining noise when the disc it first inserted (very minimum) that goes away in a few moments and stops before you even see anything on your TV. The other thing is because it has no internal memory the initial boot up a bit slow, but faster than others at this price level! No SD card slot is also a draw back as this would speed up BD Live downloads.
All in all I suggest you pick it up!!

I have owned this unit for about a year now. i purchased it refurbushed in January 2011. We use it daily for Netflix and streaming. We watch on average of 5-15 shows a day between us and the kids. I have had no major issues. We have stayed up to date on the firmware updates and that has made the difference. It may not be very fast in the menu's, but it gets the job done. One thing that is important is that you have a solid internet connection. We have a consistent 2-5 MBps connection from our provider. It makes a huge difference in your Netflix experience. With that said I am very happy with what i have got.
Things to note.
It's not as fast as a computer in the menu's.
It takes some time to load a DVD-BluRay.
If you have some patience with the menu system, the picture quality is awesome and is nice on a budget. Not for spaz personality types that click to fast.
TV: Dynex 32" LCD 720 P
Internet: Digis Wireless 2-5 Mbps down 1.5 Mbps up
BluRay: Insignia - (this one)

I bought this blu-ray player new about a year ago. I have not used it in about 3 months because half the time it will not even turn on! Netflix connectivity is subpar at best. I can stream on my netbook better than this garbage unit. Playing discs is just as painful, it skips constantly. If I could return it, I would have. How was I supposed to know it was going to just die on me after 7 months???

I bought 3 of these and i thought it was horrible that they didn't include any plug in cables. the remotes were dirty and the keys were brown. They could of atleast given the controllers a wash. one of the controllers did not w\ork at all and it had crumbs all over it from previous owner, this was not professional at all best buy....
