This remote was purchased for my 75 year old mother who is not electronics literate. It was very easy for her to use even when I walked her through what buttons to push over the phone while using her Firestick. Price was higher than I would have expected but it immediately worked on her Samsung TV with out a lot of programing and entering codes.

Worked straight out of the box for my Samsung 4K Smart Tv to replace remote dog chewed, no programing needed. I like it better than the one that came with TV. its bigger, feels better in the hand, big buttons so us older folks can see option better. Highly recommend.

This remote is very easy to use. It was also great that I was able to use it right away whithout having to look up tv codes. I like that the buttons light up and that they are large enough that I am not accidently hitting the wrong buttons. I have a 50 inch Samsung smart tv that I use this remote with.

I bought this remote when my Samsung remote stopped working. It was an inexpensive alternative to buying a new Samsung remote. It worked perfectly right out of the box with no setup required.

This replacement remote is huge! You will never have to worry about losing it! I some how lost the remote that came with my Samsung UHD 4K TV I bought last Spring and it works perfectly to turn my TV on and off!

The universal remote works very good with my Samsung TV set. The buttons are just the right size not too small like the ones on remote that came with the set. Ease of use and comfort are just as I expected.

I was looking into buy the same remote that came with my tv. but that remote was 150 dollars. and I wasn't to sure about this remote but it worked right of the box on all my Samsung tvs. I have to say for the price it was perfect. very happy with this product.

the best part of this remote is it makes the original remote jealous. As soon as we bought this remote and had it programed, our original remote reappeared from a head reclining cushion after a several week hiatus. It is nicer than our very basic origin remote and it is nice having the second remote just incase the otiginal decides to hide again.

If you own a. Samsung TV and need a remote, this one is for you. Put batteries in and you're finished. Nothing more to do. Like original. If you need a voice remote however, this isn't for you. 5 stars

My original samsung egg-shaped remote finally started acting weird in always showing the “curser” light on the screen while in Netflix, which there was no way to get it to stop. Instead of spending another $100 to buy a replacement for it, I looked into Bestbuy’s replacement version, which is 1/3 of the cost of the original. Is it exactly the same? No, it’s not egg shaped, it is a regular large remote. It does make my fingers a little sore getting used to it, but that’s fine. Problems it solved: 1) I can watch my TV’s built in Netflix app. 2) standard button placements do away with the original remotes problem - the buttons were sensitive and extremely close in proximity to others, in which I would constantly press the VOICE button or 3D button when trying to push something else. Problems created: 1) keys are so far apart it’s almost a two handed operation vs everything available within thumb distance on OEM remote 2) Not that the other remote was a light up, but this SHOULD be illuminated because of all the buttons spread across. It’s not easy to see unless you’ve already memorized the buttons (which even then, it’s sometimes hard to feel the right button without looking) 3) No cursor (the thing that was constantly showing, which is not normal, on my old remote) - which means I cannot in built in apps (Netflix/Prime) to rewind/forward using the cursor. So now it’s a little harder to RWD/FWD certain scenes. Do any of those problems make me want to return the remote? NO. I would rather lose precision than to accidentally and continually pressing the wrong button!

I love this remote. I needed it specifically for my Samsung TV. I just pulled it out of the package, pointed it towards the tv and it was done. And it works great!!!! Was a little pricey but worth it.

I purchased this as a replacement remote for my Samsung 3D TV. It works great out of the packaging. No further programming required. I would recommend this for anyone looking for a replacement for their Samsung 3D TV.

Our remote that came with the tv broke so we bought this one. It works great, just like the Samsung one. Only reason that I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the keys don't light up. Otherwise the remote is awesome and a lifesaver.

This remote actually works a little better than the original remote from Samsung. The remote is bigger so easier to use than the original. Channel changing is easy. Guide comes up without problem.

You can take this Samsung replacement remote straight out the the packaging and use it immediately. No need to program at all! The best replacement remote for we have ever purchased!

Love it it is great !!! Bought this as a replacement for the onr that came with the TV. The original version ate batteries like crazy and was cumbersome. The new one is easy to use a d kind to the batteries.

The Insignia remote control for Samsung TV is better than the remote that came with the TV. But that is only because the OEM remote for my late model Samsung TV sucks! Like most remotes, the Insignia remote has buttons for specific functions. Whereas, the OEM Samsung remote has too few, requiring the user to toggle through too many menu levels to get to a desired function. I also like that the buttons are quiet when pressed and do not make an annoying clicking sound.

Does what its intended to do. Works really well with my samsung tv. Easy to use, no need for syncing anything. Made just for Samsung TVs
