Eliminated additional Dish equipment

Bought three of these, using the composite outputs on the back of my Dish Hopper 3 and two Joeys, converting to coax, and sending an analog signal over coax to other TVs. I'm voiding paying DISH a monthly fee for three additional Joeys. Great picture on the other TVs.

This modulator allowed me to connect a new dvd player. The setup was easy and the price of the unit was low based on a clearance price.

It does require an additional power outlet in order to operate. Performance is perfectly fine for AV inputs.

I have one older TV in the kitchen whose only access to a signal is via a cable connection. The Satellite installer did not have any way to connect their box to the TV so he said, "all you need is an RF Modulator to connect to your old TV. You can get one at Best Buy." It worked. But it was one more device to plug into an outlet, one more little box on the counter and four extra wires. Still, it works. I hope you never need one.
