Customers are saying

Customers admire the Single-Zone Induction Cooktop's fast heating speed and ease of use, frequently praising its convenient size and affordability. However, some users note compatibility issues with certain cookware and find the fan to be somewhat noisy during operation. Overall, the positive feedback on performance and ease of cleaning outweighs the reported drawbacks.

Better than the 120V coil stove

Our cooktop broke and it was a while before we could get a replacement. Meanwhile, we had one of those coil type electrics that you plug into 120V. It's not enough to really cook well. This went on sale so I thought this might be a good temporary cooker in case our cooktop broke again.

    Induction plate.

Works great with cast iron! Not so great with stainless steel. With steel, the food becomes scorched, but cast iron does a better job of distributing the heat! Great item for small spaces: camping and glam ping. Also did a great job when we needed to replace the stove in our house.

    Solid option for smaller pans

For smaller pans, this is a great option for simple induction cooking. When I used pans that were near the recommended diameter limit, the heating was very concentrated in the center. I didn't want to pay for super expensive multi-layer pans that distribute heat better (layers of aluminum between layers of stainless) and so I had to be careful about temperature settings.

Important to know, this devices will only activate the heat when in contact with certain materials that activate the induction. If your pot does not get it going, you may have to stick a magnet strip to it (included in the package)

Works great. I bought this to have at the office. It is small enough to fit the space and works like a champ. It even came with a magnet so I could make sure my pan would work. You have to use a pan that has a magnetic bottom.

This is GREAT. Heats water VERY fast. IF it had power levels 1.5 and 2.5 to get in-between levels 1-2 and 2-3 it would be perfect. Have found using the power levels works best for what I cook rather than the temperature levels which use a higher power. If you need to boil water this is super fast.

The product looks good and arrived on time. It functions for what it is advertised. It is lightweight and can be carried to hotels which only provide a refrigerator and coffee machine.

I love this induction cook top. Does not put out heat that warms the kitchen as you cook. It heats up so fast shortening the cook time. The magnet that comes with it helps to select the correct cook ware. I love it

Seems a bit less powerful than I was expecting, but the flexibility of having a cooktop that I can move around is still worth the purchase. Just wait for one of the frequent 50%+ off sales.

Been using it a few weeks now and I’m convinced that I’ll switch to inductive cook top in my kitchen. Heats up food so incredibly fast. The temp control could be a bit finer but over all excellent cook top. Use it for almost all cooking until I change out my cook top in the future.

I originally bought this for easy heating of kids food (mac and cheese, etc.) while roadtripping and camping. I found myself using this next to my grill and now I use this everytime I grill. I use this a lot more than expected.

Excellent cooktop for the price. Heats very quickly and evenly. It is also relatively quiet. We were able to use it on our tabletop for serving and keeping food hot. Can also use it outdoors so house does not get hot from cooking. Recommended.

There are some good and bad things about this. Good: Heats up pans fast, maintains consistent temperature, easy to clean. Bad: Power Output (also heat) impacted by if a 10 or 15A circuit is being shared by other in used items. My first use I was trying to fry some tempura and the oil would not go hotter than 300 degrees (was shooting for 350F). I just so happened to be using a bread machine at the time as well, before I realized my issue. I've yet to attempt to fry anything again, so I hope its able to reach the advertised numbers of 440F at the highest setting. Got this on sale so I guess its okay for the money.

this was an awesome buy! We use it to fry fish pity to keep the kitchen from smelling of fish. It’s easy to clean and storing it is also easy as it doesn’t take up too much space in the cupboard. 98% of out cookware is induction ready. Induction is the way to go.

At first I was very confused on how to start the thing up, but after 3 hours I realized that I needed a special type of pan in order for the thing work properly but overall it was a great purchase because this little thing heats up quickly!

Bought this to use on my patio for special events and it does the job. Must admit that I wasn’t aware that you needed specific cookware so that left me limited on what pots and pans I could use. Just a heads up!

Heats really fast. Nice when cooking outside when camping or working outside and don’t want to come in the house. Please note that you can’t use any pot. Must be the type specified in the instructions.
