Can’t complain, not expecting much other than some portable cooking. Grabbed this on sale and the sale price made it a competitor in the world of cheapo induction cooktops. If it lasts a year, it’s paid for itself, IMO.

This works better than I thought it would. It was a little bigger than I thought which was good to me and it heats up better than I thought. It wasn't that expensive and worth the price

Originally bought for Homebrew beer making, but it is so usefully for many kitchen applications. Almost a must have is you have a ceramic cooktop range, and are used to cooking on gas.exelent temperature co tell, and it's almost instantaneous.

Great small side cook top that can really help during renos or while hosting parties and needing an extra burner. Controls could be more instructive, but you get what you pay for :D.

I have a medical condition that requires I be on oxygen so I cannot be anywhere near an open flame. I no longer need to use our gas stove to make one pot/pan meals. Heats quickly. Perfect solution for my situation.

First of all, induction cooking is a life changer. It’s extremely fast and efficient and has fewer health risks than gas. We’ve had ours for a few months and this cooktop is hard to control because it gets pans very hot. Out of heat levels 1-8 we only can use 1-2 and still burn food at 2 sometimes. At the $30 sale price it’s worth it but if you want tight control of your cooking I’d recommend trying something else.

Seems to be dependable. This is my second one. First one is 3 to 4 years old and still working. I prefer induction over my glass electric range cooktop. I turned that off at breaker and use the 2 inductions on top of the range.

So far so good and comfortable to use. This has to be used with Induction cookware only. Beautiful design and all I need for cooking outside. Happy with my purchase.

Good item ,cool to the touch until pot is added, only works with true metal pans no aluminum pans.Heats up in seconds.

First time trying induction and I am sold. Water boils super fast and cooks pasta quickly. Good quality so far. Just make sure your pot or saucepan is compatible.

It heats up really quickly, the only downside was that you had to have specific pans for it and I only had one of those types.

This burner came in handy when one of the burners on our stove went down. It is easy to use but I do wish the temperature controls had more exact increments.

Decent quality and heats up my pans very quickly. Good alternative to typical electric/butane cookers when i want to save a little time.

I'm always amazed at how quickly this cooktop heats up everything I cook.

This is great. I use this every time we do some shabu shabu or Korean bbq at home, highly recommended

Overall this is a good portable induction cooktop. I like the constant heat levels compared to gas. It's a very good value when on sale and I would buy it again.

Heating things up much faster than my radiant stove. However I would not purchase it at full price, there are many alternatives available.

I can't say enough good things about this product. It's been one of the best insignia products I have purchased. This is the third one I've bought!

The insignia induction burner was exactly what i was looking for for hot pot at home. make sure the pot you use sticks to the magnet or else it wont work correctly.

It came as described and will be using it this weekend. It was purchased for those times I need an extra burner. I have used others before, so I know they work great.
