The plugs were too big in diameter and would not fit. Even though they look like they should compress, I pushed fairly hard and they did not go in. I just tossed them in the trash. I bought a different set of plugs from a different store.

They made insertion quite hard -- the covers slipped down over the plugs. On removal the insulation prevented a good grip, and they slipped right off. With this design defect and insane price, I looked elsewhere for more. Still, they helped out with speaker hookup on the tight-packed receiver posts.

I have tried to get the banana plugs to plug into my Sony and my Pioneer receivers and they are too small. They do not make good contact nor will they stay in. :(

Please, make sure that the connectors on the back of your receiver are for Banana Plugs. If they are standard RCA, they will NOT fit properly.
