I recently had to replace an IGBT in a variable frequency AC drive. Now that RS is all but gone, and industrial electronics places are disappearing, I wasn’t sure where I was going to get my hands on heatsink compound locally. A shot in the dark turned up here. I got to play hero and save the drive from immediate replacement saving a company thousands of $$$$.

Most compounds I use have the consistency of a good quality tooth paste, and spread smoothly with a spatula. Insignia™ - brand thermal compound is a little soupier than I expected; it actually ran, and dripped off of the spatula. One CPU I supposed was clean enough to remove had some Insignia thermal compound residue around the outer edges that ran down onto the CPU slot's contact pins when it was tilted. What a mess, and a tedious task to resolve. Insignia™ thermal compound does work, but it can be unexpectedly soupy.

This paste has been applied to my computers cpu and continuously keeps my temperature where it works best on the device.

Works great ,easy to use, and does a great job . this thermal compound comes in a easy to use container and makes for easy.storage till u need it again . its also very aforodable so if ur having problems with overheating devices go ahead n grab some its easy on the wallet and nice to have on hand ..it does a great job on pc amd games just read direction first and u cant go wrong

As the title says, this thermal compound does exactly what it should. A very generous amount is provided in the package, at a very competitive, reasonable price. Includes handy applicator paddle to ensure smooth, even, thin application of the compound. CPU and GPU temps in the few older laptops I've already used this with have dropped 10C or more vs the degraded original thermal paste applied by the manufacturer. Best Buy didn't have it in stock at my local store, so they shipped next day from another one and delivered quickly. Recommend both this item for those that need it, and Best Buy for terrific customer service and support:)

This thermal compound works as intended. The amount provided in each syringe is enough for several applications. I've used this in a couple of PC builds, and I have no complaints as to it's thermal performance. Includes an applicator paddle to ensure smooth, even, thin application of the compound on the CPU.

If you are building your own system or you are reapplying a many year old heatsink, this fits the bill. Used for a couple of Macbooks and it's been pretty good just to have that peace of mind that the CPUs are cool, plus when you open up your machine, you can blow out the existing dust. A tube should last about 20 plus different heatsink applications... easily.

Need new paste for my heat sink asap. My computer was overheating and not booting. Did some research and the only place that I could find paste was BB. Applied this product and all is well now. Easy to apply and comes with a mini squeegee. Very good heat transfer. Highly recomend.

If your having a problem with overheating or just replacing your old processor this thermal paste will not let you down. It does exactly what it's designed to do and if you make a mistake (applying too much) it's easy to wipe up and start over. A must have for keeping things cool.

Replaced the battery in my mid 2015 macbook pro, while I was in there, I also replaced the thermal paste. Made a huge difference with this and cleaning all the dust out of the last 5 years, no more fan spin ups like in the past.

I initially got this specifically because A) it was immediately available and B) the price for the volume was nearly unbeatable, and from that alone my expectations have been met. Now if we want to get all technical, it's not the best, you may run 2° hotter, but considering it's half the price or less per g than some of their competition, what's 2°? For most people that 2° makes absolutely no difference, and if it does, you're likely not even looking at this right now to begin with. But for everyone else, this thermal paste is a very easily accessible, more than suitable option fot an incredibly fair price!

its a well priced thermal paste, it works properly and its comparable to arctic silver, I use this on everything because its so cheap that I don't see a reason to buy a expensive paste brand when I can just use insignia and get the same thermal results.

Stay a while and listen! Travelers would be wise to use this Insignia Thermal Compound on any CPUs dealing with excessive heat! The Injector makes it easy for even a new adventurer.

I have several different thermal compounds but needed the cold silver brand to complete a project after running out.. I found this for about half the price and it worked just as good. Recommended!!!

Used this on a few of my client's computers and the systems ran very cool. For the price and amount of paste you actually get its a great bang for the buck!

Remember this is thermal paste not a cooler, the thermal paste job is to fill in small gaps between the heat sink and gpu cpu or other component part that may need it and help transfer the heat in a more efficient manner. The paste alone does not cool the item and this paste is great for mid to low end gaming. If your using this on a thread ripper or any work station with heavy load then you might want to invest in a higher quality paste but this does the job do not let other reviews deter you from purchasing this item. If your electronic is overheating it's highly improbable it will be the paste that causes the issue, the probalem would lie in the heat sink, fan or other hardware.

I’ve used a bunch of different thermal pastes/compounds. I like this one! Easy to control the flow of compound coming out and keeps that CPU coo.

I always seem to need Thermal Compound at the last minute. Luckily I can almost always find it at Best Buy. Works very well, but don’t use a lot as it spreads easy and is not as thick as others.

I needed a compound to fix my ps4 from over heating and after searching online I saw this one, and it got the job done, my ps4 no longer gets the over heating message.

I used this because I went a couple years without applying thermal paste (I know, terrible!) and it definitely helped in performance and cooling.
