I have purchased Antec and other heat sink compounds and it would stick to my finger or applicator more than to the processor and was too dry to spread a nice even coat. And after capping it and trying to use again a month or less later it was useless to apply. The Insignia is the best I have ever used for ease of use and continual usage. I'm a PC Tech and from time to time need to clean off and reapply heat sink compound on CPUs.

I used this product to repair an old computer that had overheated. Computer is running well. I would suggest for the manufacturer make a smaller version and cut the price in half. I was surprised that Best Buy had this product in stock which saved me the hassle of ordering on line because I needed it right away.

I used this on an aging 6-year old gaming laptop that had crazy fan noise. It idles fine now without sounding like it's going to take off. It replaced the awful toothpaste looking compound that ASUS covered my chips with. There are better alternatives, but this is good for the price and it is sold in store so you don't have to wait for shipping.

This has got to be one of the best thermal compound solutions I've used in my 18 years of breaking and fixing computers. It is a breeze to apply this product with it's syringe like feel. The tool that's include helps you perfect the application. Highly recommend it!

I recently had to remove my motherboard to send it out for repairs. I purchased this to re attach the processor and it worked like a charm. I also may use it to help my PS4 with its cooling.

Not as high quality as artic silver, but this was the only thermal compound available for pickup at my local store. In the end, it did the job and is much better than the compound provided with most CPUs.

This Thermal Compound works! The CPU in my DELL All-in-One P.C. has been cool and has not overheated. As an added bonus - since there was A LOT left over, I put a SMALL AMOUNT on my new key fob battery when replacing the spent one. My remote functioning distance has increased by a good measure with the Compound applied. I've replaced this battery several times and have not achieved the distance I now have. I can 'chirp' my alarm from a greater distance WITH the Compound applied. However, I don't know if this will drain the battery quicker or any other future consequences regarding this action...

I have applied it to my computer when I replaced my CPU. It has been working good and the computer is running just as it should and it has not overheated. The nice thing is the size of it. You get a very large tube of it at a good price.

I am not sure what to really say except that is does what it was designed to do. I needed to redo the thermal compound in my laptop. When I was finished the overheating problem was resolved.

This paste was easy to use and worked great. If you're installing without pre applied paste this is a great selection.

Well I’ve built a few PCs, and do plenty of upgrades in between builds just as you might, I usually use Arctic Silver, pricey but worth it. The dude at B.Buy said it’s comparable, so I tried it out, the stuff is easy to use, it’s thick enough to be spread evenly, a nice consistency kinda like super thick paint, at first the temps were higher than I expected, but it takes a few cycles to set, and it did settle in very nicely temps were right I had expected them to be, pleased with the results and the savings.
