Plug and play? depends on the HDMI socket!

I have 3 ports on my LG TV, only one port is "plug and play" connecting both video and audio. It is labeled "ARC" see photo (middle #2 HDMI port on this TV). The insignia box says "The USB-C port on our device must support DP Alt Mode." The USB-C port on my "device," macbook air, was not the problem. The box does not say anything about the port on the TV. Find your HDMI ARC port and the product is plug and play and works great. Just wasted an hour figuring it out.

The screens on those chrome books are tiny! Cable works instantly and easy to connect. My son absolutely loves the larger screen and no longer strains his eyes to complete his course work. In fact, he now enjoys his lesson plans on the computer with the larger monitor. Cable is easily affordable and best money spent in a while!

Amazing little dongle

I’ve had it for a long time now it’s very sturdy and it’s been working strong to connect my laptop to any and everything that could be connected via HDMI. The price point was amazing versus buying a Belcon and I can’t say that I’ve had any issues that could’ve been solved by buying a more expensive product.

I have yet to notice any visual lag and am writing this right now using it to look at my monitor's screen instead of the one on my laptop. This has definitely helped me in my ability to multitask as a college student!
