My laptop had no SD slots, but had several USBs, so this was able to plug into a USB port and connect a microSD card. The Marine chart plotter also could not take a very large card, or a very fast card, so I did not look for super high storage capacity or super high transfer speed. It worked well and transferred the data without error.

I haven't had any problems yet, s/o to the worker for helping me find this. All the other workers sent me off I had the c cord for my camera was trying to take the vids off to edit...
