Beside letting me read my photos on an ipad, it also lets me read my photos while out in the woods (from my game cameras). I no longer need to carry an ipad but can do everythin from my phone. It plugs into my phone's USB Type C recepticle and I can view, save, or erase my cards without a trip to my computer at home. The best of both worlds.

SD Card to USB Converter

I needed to upload pictures from the SD Card on my cameras to a folder on my computer and to an online photo printing service. I highly recommend this product.
