This card reader is better than I had hoped for! Beside letting me read my photos on an ipad, it also lets me read my photos while out in the woods (from my game cameras). I no longer need to carry an ipad but can do everythin from my phone. It plugs into my phone's USB Type C recepticle and I can view, save, or erase my cards without a trip to my computer at home. The best of both worlds.

As a pro photographer, I have used media card readers most of my professional life. There is nothing new under the sun. Right? Wrong! This little guy works and works well. And it is so small. No cord. USB "A" and "C." No software. Just insert your card, plug it in and it rocks!

I needed a microSD card to transfer data from my laptop to a marine chart plotter. My laptop had no SD slots, but had several USBs, so this was able to plug into a USB port and connect a microSD card. The Marine chart plotter also could not take a very large card, or a very fast card, so I did not look for super high storage capacity or super high transfer speed. It worked well and transferred the data without error.

It was very simple to use. It communicated to the computer without a problem.

My new computer did not include a SD card port and this USB Adapter worked perfectly and did exactly what it was advertised to do. I needed to upload pictures from the SD Card on my cameras to a folder on my computer and to an online photo printing service. I highly recommend this product.
