However I never ever won anything but best buy is literally a best buy for items that it have for sale as such as electronics that's where I get all my electronics from totally the best quality in those type of products and accessories on this current purchase I have made is incredible I highly recommend for everyone to consider this item for purchase from best buy literally you are geting a best buy

I purchased this Insignia VGA to HDMI Adapter – white, so I could connect my old Window's 98se P.C. to my new ASUS TUF27 monitor. It worked perfectly! I now have an old PC that I can still use for my older games that will not run on the newer Windows based operating systems. It was super simple to use, I unboxed it, I plugged it into my old PC's VGA video port, connected the USB power cable to the PC. Next, I then connected the HDMI cable from my ASUS monitor to the adapter, turned on the monitor, and booted up the old PC! Bada Bing, Bada boom! Not much to it! And best of all, I didn't need to make any adjustments to my monitor or P.C. settings! It worked great! I highly recommend this Insignia VGA to HDMI Adapter if you need to connect a newer monitor to an old VGA video card, this gizmo fit’s the ticket perfectly! Nuf said!

Works great.i had it to display contents from computer to TV

Worked as expected, my only issue was that the usb connection needed for power was not reachable so I had to use an extension. So make sure whatever device you are connecting this to has a close USB port next to the display connection.

I was very happy to find this item available at Best Buy. It made possible the interface I needed from an HP 500 computer to my new 32" LG Monitor.

I bought this for my Mom who has a 24" HDMI TV that she's using for a monitor for her PC laptop. Her PC laptop is a refurbished laptop that only has a VGA out port. So, I had to buy this adaptor to make it work with the HDMI TV (that has no VGA input). This did the job beautifully. A good device to bridge the two video eras: VGA and HDMI. (Keep in mind this goes VGA to HDMI, not the other way around).

When I purchased a new computer, I took my monitor to Best Buy to be sure that it would connect to the new computer. The lady said I needed an adapter, she had someone go get it. I paid and left. When I got my new computer, I could not get the adapter to work. Took it took the local computer repair shop. They said the adapter worked fine, but it was not the one I needed. They sold me one that connects a new monitor to an old computer, not an adapter for an old monitor to a new computer. I returned the adapter by mail as I live an hour and a half from the nearest Best Buy.

I needed this to hook up my monitor with the HDMI port for my computer. Everything works perfectly now. My older computer tower doesn’t have a HDMI port and my new monitor has a HDMI port but no old screw in port, this has me up and running.

I needed something to set up some servers and since they are run headless the outputs are the simple and cheap vga. this worked for messing around with the bios and setting up an OS install. didnt bother with the audio output no clue how that works.

This item works amazing. I had a 5 year old Lenovo laptop that worked fine with my old TV when I would run a long HDMI to HDMI wire so I could watch shows from my laptop. But my new Insignia would not recognize it. I read that one solution was to use the VGA port (look it up) to hook it up to the TV. Problem is, VGA only has video and no audio (which I didn't really pay attention to when I bought the cord). And I got home and thought the USB part was just an extra piece. I hooked in the VGA, and then my old HDMI cable (6 feet or more of HDMI cable to reach the TV), the picture came on! But no sound :(. Then I remembered about the VGA having no sound, so then I was like, "Hmmm, just maybe..." and plugged the USB in too, and voila, Let There be Sound! Very ingenious design to get sound and video with one gadget. I am really glad too, because I bought the TV and didn't take it out of the box for months and I couldn't return it. I had got used to just using my laptop to watch stuff in my room.

Seems well made but he short cords made it difficult to use for intended purpose

The product is what was expected. It did not work for my purposes. I was frustrated to learn that there was only a two week return window. People have busy lives and this is sometimes unrealistic to think that we can get back to your store in this amount of time. Please consider readjusting to 30 days.
