It made it quite easy, and the clerk or representative in the store was able to guide me to the right item, even though I was trying to describe it to him because I didn’t know the terms for the item I needed great customer service.

Replaced my single monitor with a pair of Dell 27 inch monitors. The PC had one HDMI and one VGA port. So, this cable is used to connect to the PC's VGA port. Works like a charm.

VGA to HDMI adapter

That is the purpose of this item. The VGA connection carries the video image, while the USB connection carries the audio signal.

So I went with her suggestion and could not be happier. Due to the tight conditions I had to work with, I delayed installing this on my computer. It was not mission critical that I do it immediately, but now wish I had done it sooner. The moment I hooked it up it was incredible the difference in the picture quality of my TV/Monitor. Blew me away. For me it was a triple win. Cheaper to purchase and install vs installing an internal HDMI card, the picture quality is superb, and was not as hard to install even in tight quarter as I thought it was going to be.
