I had planned on having an internal HMDI card installed on my system and when talking to the Greek Squad Techie, she recommended this product instead. So I went with her suggestion and could not be happier. Due to the tight conditions I had to work with, I delayed installing this on my computer. It was not mission critical that I do it immediately, but now wish I had done it sooner. The moment I hooked it up it was incredible the difference in the picture quality of my TV/Monitor. Blew me away. For me it was a triple win. Cheaper to purchase and install vs installing an internal HDMI card, the picture quality is superb, and was not as hard to install even in tight quarter as I thought it was going to be.

Well it is an obscure item after all, but I wanted to connect a TV monitor with an HDMI input to an older desktop PC that only had VGA and USB outputs. That is the purpose of this item. The VGA connection carries the video image, while the USB connection carries the audio signal.

I like that I was able to pair a updated monitor to my old computer. It made it quite easy, and the clerk or representative in the store was able to guide me to the right item, even though I was trying to describe it to him because I didn’t know the terms for the item I needed great customer service.

This is a really good USB-HDMI adapter, the price is the one thing I wish would get back to levels it used to be at around $30 but when it is needed I get this one

This item does a great job of converting the VGA output from an older computer to work with a newer HDMI monitor. Just plug it in and hook it up and Bingo! It works! No fuss, no muss, no bother!
