This speaker is powered by google assisstant. It can be very loud yet clear. The convenience of having mu stuff controlled by my voice is awesome. The fact that is has a built in battery so it doesn't have to be constantly plugged in is what sold me on this versus other speakers.

This is a good device for someone who is new to voice devices. Google is very responsive but I have not tried it on my lights and thermostat yet. The sound is good for a small room and overall, good value for the money. It will make a great gift....

Amazing experience with this item. I didnt expect much, but the sound is great and loud. Can link the speakers as well. Current sale makes it a steal at under $50 for the price and capabilities. Get a bunch of them and have a party!! Plust they are all portable! Lol

I absolutely love this speaker. Easy to setup. I like that it displays the time. It also displays the outside temp once you ask it what the temperature is. Sounds pretty good too for what it is. I've never been let down by Insignia products.

Google Home, Bluetooth Speaker YES! The price is amazing and this speaker is the same. I wish Temperature displayed all the time but I can live with out it. Having the time displayed is great as I have this in the bed room. Well worth the price for a smart speaker!

I great alternative to the several Google Home minis we own. This one looks and sounds better. Plus the clock and temperature display is a nice feature. And easy to move to another room when guests arrive with its built in battery which lasts about 5 hours.

I got this is as a gift and they LOVE it. I only did it for myself because I already have a Bluetooth speaker but if you don’t have one this is a GREAT buy. It’s very nice prized and you make use of ‘Hey Google’ a lot more than you think. Also it gets quite loud

I was skeptical buying a store branded product but the price at the time was low so I figured I'd give it a chance. Glad I did because this has exceeded my expectations. Easy to set up and it sounds decent. I use it to play background music when I play games.

Gives quality sound , alarm to wake me up from sleep in a soft touching music, I have collections of songs to listen to from my library, blue tooth connectivity to my phone which allows me to control the speaker without having to wake up and walk to the speaker.

This thing is wonderful. Our house is Google friendly, and having a speaker that replaces my alarm clock, sounds great, and uses Google assistant was a monumental purchase. You can't beat the price either. Ordered one for my parents and grandparents as well.

Bought this speaker on sale and I took a risk since there was no current review about it. Best decision I ever made, great Bass, 5hr portable built in battery. Has an issue hearing me sometimes while I'm playing loud music but it's not a deal breaker, worth the money...

Nice combo of Google Assistant functionality (I'm wedded to the Android universe, so it fits me better than Alexa or Siri) with a slightly better speaker than the basic Google speaker. Picked it up on a "deal of the day" sale, so it was an excellent value.

Cost of a Mini but you get a better speaker and the unit is portable. Battery lasts around 5 hours, as it gets low clock will start to flash. It disconnects from my WiFi at about 75 feet. Be aware this is a large unit, as compared to a Mini.

These are great speakers on their own, nice full sound. The Google assistant is very responsive. Works and sounds better than my full size Google Home. That constant Tempature display is perfect for our use.

I bought this one once it came on sale. I have the smaller one also. This one has a recharable battery. The feature that allows you to wave your hand over the top of the speaker to snooze the alarm. Works much better on this one. This works great so far.

I have purchased several of the Insignia Voice Speakers. Obviously, since I bought them over time, my experience(s) have been outstanding! The sound quality is excellent. Especially, on the portable version. It has a dedicated woofer at the bottom. As far as I know, they are the only non-Google smart speaker that can be paired for stereo. If not, they were certainly among the first. They get regular updates. For example, the temperature now displays all the time which was a most welcomed update. Another super cool feature is they will recognize certain hand gestures without even touching them! They are a great value at regular price and an absolute steal when on sale.

Great product. Bigger then the Google home but sounds so much better. The battery feature alone was what I was looking for and was surprised at how good the sound was. I ended up buying one more for myself and a few for Christmas gifts.

I have bought 7 of these at the $25 sale price to set up around the house and give as gifts. Sounds as good or better than the Google Home and much better than the mini. It is larger than each as well. The battery is nice to move it outside if wanted.

Purchased this during the flash sale on it and couldn't be happier. Nice sound and is loud for its size. With a 5 hour battery life and Google Assistant baked in it's a great thing to have around the house. Only regret is I didn't buy more than one.
