I originally purchased the Insignia Water-Resistant Headlamp for fresh and saltwater fishing. I soon found myself using it around the house for plumbing and other projects where I needed adequate light and both hands free. The headband is also comfortable and can be easily worn with a ball cap.

I got this headlamp for my daughter for when she goes hiking. She used it for the caves at the Pinnacles, and she loves it. It's very convenient, rather than using a regular flashlight.

Very convenient and useful. light weight and never in the way. Gives great light while working hands free. Great for emergencies as well if power goes out. HANDS FREE! GOOD LIGHTING!

Great Price. Extremely Bright. Only negative is the rubber covered on/off switch -- it's difficult to depress especially after the light is already mounted on your head and your finger is searching for the center of the switch -- it takes some practice. On the positive side -- this light won't accidently switch on when it's rolling around with your stuff.

bought this 150 lm model at the same time as a 60 lm version. While the other one failed right away, this one has been great. I walk our dog after dark in a heavily wooded area and constantly scan in searchlight mode, to try to minimize surprising a coyote, porcupine or raccoon. A good alternate for the more $$ Princeton Tec Fuel.

I got a great deal on this product, so I was a bit worried. It's super bright, and works great. I used it riding my mountain bike the other night, as well cleaning out my car in the evening time. Very happy with this product.

when i got this, i didn't know how useful it would be. . .i use it all the time. Its very light and lights up any area pretty well. A must but if you want to keep your hands free while you work in the dark.

I brought this along with me on a trip to Africa. We were out in the bush and really appreciated having this hands-free, super bright light. My friends actually had to ask me NOT to look their way when in use.

got this headlamp on clearance for almost free; comes handy when working on my cars when there isn't enough light; I can have both hands free to work and l can move the light to wherever l need it, recommended.

Just as nice as the $100 ones at the sporting good stores. The light is very bright, and is easy to turn on and off.
