Bought this because I'm a bit of a flashlight geek and it was dirt cheap. I cannot say how impressed I am with this little headlamp. I have a couple of very nice ones from Princeton Tec (EOS and Apex Pro) for bicycling at night and I would put this up against them in a heartbeat. The low beam is the best I've seen. I was standing at my 6 ft. workbench and it was completely illuminated. I'm guessing this would be extremely good for camping with the general light and the red light.

This product was a great buy. I bought it for like 2 or 3 bucks. It was bright.

This lite is supper bright and reaches a good distance. Well worth the price. Could have a little better on/off switch (can't function switch well at all with even thin gloves on).

Has decent throw, multiple settings. You kind of have to press the button uncomfortably hard to get it to turn on or change settings, otherwise great.
