First I would like to say that I have never used a mic before so this is my first mic experience. I purchased this so I could read the Bible out loud and record it for my children to have when I’m no longer with them here on earth. my six year old son noticed that this lit up different colors so he thought it would be neat to have. The price point for me was perfect. I wasn’t expecting much at this price point but when I got home I was pleasantly surprised. It is a very solid and heavy device looking far more expensive than it was. I have provided pictures below. To me it sounds wonderful but again I’ve never used a mic before. If you set the volume of the mic to around 10 o’clock you get the perfect calming sound for recording the type of recording I will be doing. You just plug it in and do your thing, it’s that simple. I’m going to put a very short sound clip on a site I am working on for school for anyone who would like to hear what it puts out. I had an Insignia NS-PAUBMD8 for years before it got busted during a move and I had to replace it. I tried numerous other mics (which were awful) and all of them felt cheap and sounded hollow compared to the one I had. I was actually looking to replace it with the same mic but I saw this one and decided to give it a try. It's perfect! It works great for gaming and content creating / recording and is the main mic I use now. It has a nice weight to it and isn't made out of cheap plastic but is some sort of heavier metal. It definitely feels more like a high quality microphone. My desk is right next to a window which is usually open and a box fan blowing in, making lots of noise and picking up sounds from the outside and no one has ever complained about not being able to clearly hear me and you can't hear anything but my voice in recordings. If you're on a budget (or not!) you can't go wrong and you can't get a better mic for under $50!

Good microphone for the price. I've had it for a couple months now. Very good build quality; metal stand and base. Noise suppression could be better, but again it's not an expensive microphone. And the background noise can be resolved with some free software anyways. But the audio quality on the mic is very good. I would definitely recommend this product to those in this price range.

I have been recording youtube videos and this mic was an amazing upgrade from my headset mic. I have had no issues with it. Very much plug and play. If you are looking for a good mic on a budget then i reccomend this one.

I bought this microphone about a month ago and I am very satisfied with its performance. It has two modes Cardiod and omnidirectional. It picks up voices even from across the room (10 feet away). The head can be tilted. When plugged into my laptop’s usb port, it automatically goes online and notifies me that it has bypassed the computer’s microphone

It’s a nice microphone but for the price I don’t think it’s much worth it. It’s good for streaming or making videos but you need to be up next to the mic for it to hear your voice.

I fot tired of weering my headphones while playing games. My son loves to play fortnite with me(he is 7) and he likes to communicate while we play. As he should right? Lol. So I decided to pick this mic up to be able to chat with him and just run the game audio through my computer speakers. He says that my voice sounds super good and its like im right next to him. To me this is a fair price if you want a solid mic to stream or chat while playing multiplayer. The RGB is cool. Subtle but a noce touch. But you can tuen it off if thats not your mood at that time. Very pleased overall.

This Insignia USB mic is super cool! It makes my voice sound clear when I’m gaming and chatting with friends. It's easy to set up, just plug it in and it works. Plus, you can switch between cardioid and omnidirectional modes, which is neat. Great for gaming, streaming, and even school projects!

Everything about this mic works really well, especially for it's low price. But what confuses me is how twice now, I've gotten this exact mic, but around 2 months later it randomly stops working one day when I plug it in. Twice now, the same exact thing has happened to me where the mic was working perfectly, and I plug it in like normal and the lights in the microphone will completely go out and it stops working entirely. As soon as it happens, I can no longer use the mic and the file of it in my device manager basically disappears once it's power goes out. I don't think it's the product itself because most reviews have been positive. But I used a different mic for over a year and nothing like this ever happened to it. Meanwhile these 2 broke within only a month or two. It's likely that it's a problem of my own pc and I'm struggling to figure it out, so if anyone can help me I would greatly appreciate it. Either way, I won't be buying more of these but I do think they work amazingly and I would strongly reccomend them to anyone not wanting to spend too much.

The audio quality is honestly very good, and it’s good for getting close up to it to annoy your friends with. It’s small, so it doesn’t take up a lot of space on your desk. Definitely would recommend it, it also is has a good price for what it is.

I just got it so I can't speak to it's longevity, but my husband is really pleased with the sound quality. He uses it for zoom meetings, and it doesn't have any feedback from the other people talking.

I like this microphone a lot. Stable, sturdy, easy to use and pick up sounds well.

not the best mic but for the price it cannot b beat work real good for broadcasting and sounds good and i used it for music slightly until i bought a music microphone.

Purchased this microphone for my grandson. He loves it. Works great with his gaming pc, xboxone & ps5. Great price point Would buy it again in a heartbeat
