Nice professionals did a great install for a decent price

I bought this so that my wife and my 5 year old daughter would be warm when they headed to the bus stop. I have it in my Hyundai and she loved the idea so it made the perfect christmas gift. We always preach to not buy each other presents and the spend it on others. Well... this was the first time should couldn't say anything. They both love it. Getting into a warm car when it is cold outside awesome. She can't wait to see how it works when it is hot outside and she gets into a cool car instead of an oven. It works will all other functions of the car and instantly shuts down after 15 minutes and if someone were to get into the car without the key. Our alarm system is also integrated into it. For the price and the short installation period, it is the gift that will always keep giving.

This remote start works very well and I got a great price when it was on sale. I had some specific questions and tried to call the store but I was routed to a general call center. They did not have specific information at all. We called back a couple of times before we realized we were not talking to the store. They eventually transferred us to the tech in the store. They were great. They were very helpful and it seemed like they really knew what they were doing. I would suggest going in to the store and talking directly to the techs before buying this.

I brought a remote start for my older 2001 Toyota 4Runner up to Best Buy to have it installed and I am more than pleased with the install and the super knowledgeable installer that put it in for me. I was afraid that it was going to cost me an arm and a leg to have the system installed, but Matt assured me that it wouldn't be costly and it wouldn't take long at all. I made an appointment and dropped it off with him and he had it back to me the same day and explained all of the features he installed and assured me that if anything went wrong he would take a look at it since they guarantee the work. I love my new remote start. Thanks, Matt.

This is advertised that it comes with instalation and it does but the veryvery tiny fine print says "may need additional parts and labor". I thought that I purchased everything I needed so I was blown away when a shoed up on day of installation and they told me I needed to pay an additional 177.00. I put up a stink as I dont think this should ever happen and I was taken care of by a real nice gentlmean from Customer Service other wise I would give the a 5 star. Installation takes a full 3.5 hours so plan to be there and bring something to read or to work on. there is free wifi in the store where you can use your devices.

My only complaint is that there is a lot extra to purchase and pay for to have it installed. The advertised price included installation. However that is for a very basic much older car. Newer cars require extra relays and wiring which drives up the price of the install to over 300.00. That being said this unit installed is the same price as a discount auto sound store down the street. Someone needs to inform the sales staff that there is more to purchase than just the unit. I was assured by the salesperson that all I needed to buy was the unit. I did know better though so I was not shocked. All in all a good reliable unit....so far.

Had this installed in the coldest winter we have had in years. Works great each and every time. Allows us to start the car from the 5th floor office or in front of the house. Has made a dramatic difference this winter as we only have a one car garage and the older car is always in it during the winter. Had a concern about the manufacturer warranty for my new car when it was installed but the dealer assured me this had no impact. Glad we made the purchase.

The price was within average and the installer (at Best Buy) was super. He was very knowledgable. Only bad thing was when I arrived for my scheduled installation date I was told that I needed another item inable to complete the process. I had to purchase another $100 item. I was having two of these remote automobile starters installed into two of our vehicles so therefore I had to pay $200 more that day. I wished the SALESMAN would have known that when I bought them. That would have been bad if I had not had the money that day.

Almost need to be within sight of vehicle. Does not work in buildings heavy with concrete & steel. Remote batteries do not last long, maybe 3-4 months at best.

The installation of it has made me think I should have spent a little more and had Frontier Honda install it. It seems my insurance claim for scratches on the steering column and wheel rub is being ignored. I feel reluctant to go back to bestbuy for any concerns I have about it. I would have no idea whether about its operatio is what it should be, since I have nothing to compare to, but as long as it starts and does the job of warming the car and engine, I can only assume it is working properly.
