Ok for rice.

Not so well for oatmeal, after following the instructions provided with the unit, which took an hour to complete, but still needed to put on the stove to boil off excess water. In hindsight, I should have followed instructions on the Quaker box instead.

Made smaller batches and they didn’t turn out as well. But with needing a larger cooker, I wasn’t planning on making small batches anyway. Just wanted to point that out.
