    Bought this because I was building a gaming rig and wanted a nice cpu that also had overclock capabilities. This was on sale at another retailer but I called best buy customer service and got a price match. Overall, great service and great product.

    For price vs performance it doesn't get better than this. If you are thinking of getting good an i7 don't. Unless you do heavy video editing

    This is as close to an i7 as you can get and save some cash in the process. Speeds are awesome for any game. Easy to install on the motherboard, no problems.

    Purchased this processor for my son to use to build his own gaming computer. Very fast. He and his friends are planning some kind of weird science experiment that involves creating a female companion. Go figure.

    I bought this for my first PC build, and its treated me well over the year+ I've had it. It's been able to take a pretty hefty overclock to 4.5 GHz for me, too! Recommend this for any beginners.

    I just built a new computer and had a few parts lying around that needed a good processor added to them. This one fit the bill without having to buy into a new architecture. Plenty of go for gaming and if I ever need a little more go,it will overclock.

    It's a great processor, and I really enjoy having it in my system. I wish I could get it to go over 4.5 Ghz reliably, though!

    These i5 haswell and up CPUs are where it's at. They come cheaper than i7s with very similar performance. I was extremely pleased with this chip in one of my gaming rigs. Gets everything done just as fast as an i7.
