Awesome power for the price. Overclocked it to 5.0GHz right out of the box and it was stable. Use with a 2080 gpu, it hits some great frames while gaming.

Updated my system with a new mother board and CPU. This processor is fast! My old processor was bottlenecking when I was gaming and I wanted to get the most out of my GPU and Dell 27" 144p 144hz gsync monitor. After upgrading my system, my frame rates are not as limited now. On par with the 7 series i7 7700k. Have a corsair hydro h60 on it and it hasn't been hotter than 30c while gaming. My i7 with its stock cooler and heat sink would average 60c.

I upgraded from a fx 8350 black edition to this cpu. Ive always been a amd fan boy but when i went to intel, it was a whole new world! Ill never look back to amd. The majority of games for pc are optimized for single core use, since switching i have gained a nice 40 plus fps in a lot of my games i play. Along with the speed of this cpu just is outstanding. I have the cpu oced to 4.8 on liquid cooled and it runs stable and even faster. I couldnt be any happier as this cpu will be good for many years to come

I built a PC with the intent to game, using this processor. It handles games with ease, runs fairly cool with a 120mm AIO, and overclocks well. I have overlclocked up to 4.8 ghz, but run it with factory turbo speed of 4.2 ghz. With these setting I usually sit around 65 C under load. The only time I have noticed it meet its match, is when trying to stream. I can play at 1440p uncapped, while streaming 720p 30 fps. Anything over that and I will get an occasional stutter.

Everything you need for gaming, and most processing applications. if you are looking for a fantastic all around processor, get this one. it has plenty of head room for overclocking too

If your looking for a great bang for your buck cpu this is the one to go its overclockable and is super easy to do as long as you have a motherboard that supports it.

Save money and get the I5 over I7 plenty fast enough to run all games on high and ultra get the 8600k can over clock to 4.5 mhz on AIR NO TEMP ISSUES

Ideal for a fast gaming computer. Intel has knocked out of the part. Overclocking was easy 4.7 GHz without an issue

This processor is a great value for the money. Please note that it does NOT come with a CPU cooler. It's able to run AAA quality games on low to medium settings without much trouble on its own. If your'e building a PC for gaming, this is a decent start.

Got this little dude up to 5Ghz with a VID of 1.25 and it really shows. It was a very nice upgrade over my previous i7 4790 (non K). These 8th Gen i5s are beating 7th Gen i7s and that's pretty rad.

This process works great for what I need. I play a lot of games and it has no problem keeping up

I bought this for my first rig. I should have gone with an i7, but decided to save some money. I really can’t say this is a good processor, because I’m upgrading from a pentium. Yes, a pentium. A needed upgrade.it performs great on all my games, sadly only one has downloaded, but still good performance. I wished it came with a heat sink, because my h60 watercooler thermal throttled( probably because it doesn’t fit LGA1151 socket).

I can't buy expensive CPU, but this one doing. His job. I can playing gamea, streaming and open browser with many tabs and iga only 60% load. Nice.

Great CPU for gaming. I believe I bought this around $250 several years ago, still using it without problems!

Not a bad card, I know it's old but it still holds up to today's games. Don't really have any issues.
