Amazing gaming capability for the money.
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This CPU is over a year old, but it is still one of the top performers when gaming at 1080P. It absolutely crushes anything AMD offers at any price in terms of FPS at 1080P and this has been verified by multiple scientific tests. In contrast, the Ryzen 5, 7, and 9 series absolutely destroy this CPU in multithreaded workloads. So choose based on your needs. The bottom line FACT is that in terms of value when your build is primarily for gaming at 1080P there is nothing that can beat this CPU for the money. This is especially true if you already own a quality Z370 or Z390 motherboard and a quality cooling solution.

One of the best values in CPUs
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The performance of this CPU is fantastic, with plenty of OC potential to boot. When building an Intel based PC on a budget, this CPU gives you a big bang for your buck!

Great processor for a great price
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This processor performs very well with most, if not all games. The processor plows through most tasks with ease and doesn't even bottleneck some of the strongest graphics cards out there. I have it paired with my GTX 1080, and they both perform beautifully together, offering a great performance when combined. For the price, and being unlocked, this is a great processor, and I highly recommend it, either for a budget build or high-end build, as this is more than enough horsepower for just about anything.

Great bang for buck
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Probably the best value for most gamers on the intel side. Quite capable with OC too but stock specs are decent enough.

Great processor for mid to high-level gaming
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this processor because this is one of my favorite processors that is able to overclock as this is an unlocked ninth generation. I have been successfully able to clock well over 5.0 GHz. This processor runs smooth with the games that I like to play. I highly recommend this anyone that is doing an entry-level to mid-level gaming build and the prices probably the best bang for your buck!

Excellent cpu
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this i5 for my Asus PRIME B360M-A motherboard. It can do everything that I want and way more. It was easy to install and my 300 series board recognized it immediately. It runs games great paired with my RTX 2060. I originally thought that I needed an i7 but I was used to i7's with 4 cores, and this i5 has 6 so its impressive to me. This is the fastest cpu I have ever used.

Last part for a Gaming PC Build
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was surprised by how cool this processor runs within my gaming PC. I am able to keep it under 38-42 C with my Corsair cooler at full load. Great processor with lots of features that work for my setup. Paired it with a Z390 Motherboard and an RTX 2080 from MSI. This was the last part I needed for my build and it was available for a competitive price at my local store.

Excellent cpu for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this cpu about 3 weeks ago and haven’t been disappointed since. The stock speeds are more than enough for any modern day gaming. I paired the cpu with a Deepcool 240mm captain rgb AIO and overclocked to 5.1ghz and Got even more amazing results! If you’re solely gaming I suggest this over the ryzen 5 3600 any day.

Great product
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The overclocking potential of this processor is great. I went from an i7 7600k to the i5 9600k, I genuinely feel a difference for the better. My computer runs smoother and I’m able to do more with 6 dedicated cores. It’s a great processor and I would recommend 10 out of 10 times.

Nice upgrade from an i7 860
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As the title says this was an upgrade for my much older PC - i7 860. Noticeably faster CIV VI load times likely due to moving from Sata II to Sata III motherboard and 41% faster CPU. Good price. I could have spent an additional $180 for the i7-9700K for 6% better CPU performance but to worth the extra money in my opinion.

great value for the price
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overclockable, and a great value compared to the 9700K or 9900K. I definitely do not need to spend the money for the 9900K as the 9600K performs exceedingly well. I am curious to see the new AMD chips which will be released tomorrow.

Love this CPU!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great CPU for building on a budget. Despite the low price it does not sacrifice much. Very fast and capable of overclocking though it is not needed unless you are into squeezing every ounce of performance out of your build at any cost.

Best CPU on the market!
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. You can't beat this CPU and its overclock abilities unless you get an i7 or i9 for double and triple the price. Good entry-mid level gaming CPU. I have mine paired with MSI Tomahawk motherboard with a MSI RTX2060. No fan purchase one separately.

A great buy if you can find a good deal
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This processor is very awkwardly at blows with the 3600x from AMD. With the 2 processors at the same price and also performance thanks to intel lowering their pricing. Now what makes this a Red vs Blue buy now is the motherboard. And for the most part, a b450 will get you just as far for cheaper than z370. I personally went for the 9600k because I got a good deal on a z390 for $70. I recommend looking into motherboards (and ram since AMD loves it)

Excellent CPU!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent CPU for my first ever PC build. I was trying to decide between an AMD CPU or Intel CPU and I'm thankful I chose this i5-9600K. It has performed great and has worked like a charm. This CPU runs everything smoothly without getting to extreme temperatures. I have 7 fans installed in my PC (overkill) and it never goes above 60 degrees C. Everything I have thrown at it, the CPU has conquered. Even with it being an older generation CPU, it should easily last me 2-3 years before I upgrade. I highly recommend this CPU for those who are looking to save a little bit of money but still get the benefits of a higher end CPU. Installation was a piece of cake and the motherboard I'm using (z390) made it even easier. I would recommend this CPU to all!

||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This processor is amazing. I have had zero issues with it and my computer is significantly faster because of it. This is the perfect upgrade and I will not need a new processor for a long time.

I little processor that could
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For budget intel gaming its simple. I cool with a NZXT 120mm water cooler and it stays nice and fast with mild overclocking. Never let me down and I will install this again on my son build this Christmas.
