Follow instructions online plenty of videos I did try OC out a bit by following guides and you will need liquid cooling but i use a big block and was able to OC to 4.9 with ease and stay around 65'C. They didn't have the KF series i wanted....

Considering the line of Intel Core processors, this may not be the best but, it is certainly the best bang for my bucks. This is clearly a mid-range processor and can handle most everyday computing needs for the average person. Upgrading from a Core i3 8100, the difference in responsiveness and productivity is immediate. Would certainly recommend this as it's the best Intel processor when it comes to balancing between price and performance.

I bought this processor for the computer I was rebuilding. The one I was replacing was also a i5 and had worked great for 6 years. I still didn't have an issue with the original processor, it was just time to upgrade.

Ive got my cpu overclocked to the standard 4.6ghz, The internet agrees it runs hot however i have a 360mm aio cooler. If you plan on using all of what this card can do i suggest using at least some sort of water cooling.

The i5 cpu is a decent cpu it can run a lot of games but when you start playing games like modern warfare it begins to have trouble rendering in things at a decent speed personally if you have the money go for an i7

Everything slid in perfectly. Great little CPU, only problem, it one can call it that, was upgrading the drivers for the new graphics in the 9600K. That took all of about 5 minutes. Perfect upgrade to an existing i5 desktop

Definitely a good processor, handles all that we do and fortnite for my son (just make sure you have good video card). Probably best or one of the best processors in this price range.

My previous i5 6600k was doing great gaming for anything that was not a recent open world game. Decided to upgrade to this cpu hoping the extra 2 cores would be enough to get at least a stable 60 out of the open world games.

I have bought 8 of these in the past month for gaming builds in my shop. Combine with a B360 motherboard, 16gb of ddr4 3000 ram, GTX 1650 or 1660 Super, and you have a great gaming rig for 1080p!!!!

I have 2 old computers Both with old I7 920 2.66 chips. Replaced both motherboards with Z390 boards and a I5 9600k and I7 9700k and both work perfect. Can’t go wrong with either of these processors.

I tried to replace a first generation i7 processor with this one. Whatever I did, the motherboard stopped working and a 1 Tb HDD is now unreadable and I cannot even Initialize it. I ended up basically building a new computer , purchasing a MSI motherboard and putting them together. Together, along with a new SDD I have a machine I am happy with.

Replaced an older i5 and could visually see the improvement. Buying process on the Best Buy site was seamless and shipping was fast. Best of all, it's not Amazon.

This is the best i5 on the market. Stock boost clock sits at 4.4-4.7ghz. But thanks to a Noctua NH-D15 cpu coolerb I was able to get a stable 5.2ghz out of mine at 71c. That's pretty dang good if you ask me

No problems after a few weeks; paired with my Asus Dual OC 3070. Maybe a bit budget but provides performance within 5% of better processors for even 200$ less.
