I was able to over lock my processor to 5GHZ with ease. It is super fast and worth every penny!

It used to be the case but I guess Intel is getting cheap. I wasn't planning on using an OEM heatsync anyway but it would be nice to include one Intel. Got mine stable at 4.8mhz. I could probably go higher with my water cooling but temps are approaching 80c.

Runs fast, runs cool, overclocks nice. 10/10, would process again.

My son is building a gaming PC and put it together this past week. I have a GPU on order for him, so he's running everything gaming off of this Intel processor overclocked. Says he's getting over 200 fps on Minecraft with no GPU. Granted, Minecraft isn't all that graphics intensive, but says something about the power of this processor.

I love this processor. It's got 6 cores and hyper threading and overclocks like a beast. Mine is stable at 5GHz, even if I daily drive just a mild all core overclock. I got this just before the 9th gen series came out and it really comes out ahead with the value as compared to the newer cpus that cost much more.

This is a great processor for those who want premium performance and low temps inside their case. Good job intel! After being out for quite sometime now, the price is just a little bit absurd in my opinion.

Great processor out of the box. Good speeds and clocks and easy to install. Only bad thing is the thermal paste they use under the IHS doesn’t give great temperatures.

Let me tell you, This processor is legit. It is fast and smooth. Temp runs really good at the moment I'm running several modded Minecraft servers on it. Soon I'll be adding a 1080TI to my setup and it will be my streaming pc as well as my server pc.

The 8700k processor is beautiful. It puts so much power under the hood. I'm able to squeeze 4.1 just through the automatic BIOS settings. An absolute powerhouse. And Bestbuy had the best price 40 dollars less than anywhere else.

I bought this processor for my first computer build, and i love it it runs great can stay cool with the fan i got for it even after hours of game play on OC (doesn't go over 80), great for mid to high tier builds.

i purchased this processor to build a great gaming system for my son. This blows away the AMD processor on his previous gsming system. Puchased a gamming asus motherboard and DDR4 ram and this system is great.

Purchased this CPU as the one I specked out for my build was no longer available. I have not even scratched the surface of this CPU's computing power. Works great for my needs!

Even tho the Ryzen 7 1700 has more cores, the Intel core I7 8700k out performs Ryzen on every task. Games, video editing, photo shop, ect. The I7 8700k has more power per a core.

Did everything my i7-6700k can do and handle much more. I can game, stream without any fps drops.

Amazing price and processcor. This runs games and my Plex server with no lags. I can multi task and zero issues. Runs very effiecent and does not eat too much power.

I am very pleased with this processor. So far very fast and dependable. I would recommend with a gigabite z390 series MB.

WOW! I have never seen my computer so fast. I will probably never over clock it but I don't see myself needing to. This is the best processor I've ever had
