This is another disaster movie about tornadoes but it was better than I thought it would be. Good purchase for the price.

Into the Storm is a popcorn, disaster film. There is no getting around that. Popcorn films can be fun and Into the Storm is one of those films. What I liked about this film, they took the storm chasers craze that we see on TV and incorporated it into the film. I also liked how they had some of the film as Point of View and other parts as a regular film. The special effects were top notch and did not disappoint. The film is only 90 minutes so they did not try to stretch the film. They made it to the point. The one thing that did disappoint me and shocked me as well. The film was not in 3D. You think with the 3D craze they would have tried to capitalize. Otherwise the film is a solid B+ popcorn action film.

DISASTER MOVIE GUILTY PLEASURE. BETTER THAN TWISTER. HAS GREAT SET PIECES. VISUAL EFFECTS ARE SOLID. GREAT FUN.

This was a wonderful TV and well worth the price,my little girl and I loved it.

Great movie to watch and it is very suspenseful. Kept me on the edge of my seat.

I enjoyed the movie and would recommend it for any disaster movie collector. The acting could have been better in some places but what I really enjoyed was seeing it from the perspective of actual chaser. The vehicle in the movie is based on an actual one used today. The extras give you a look at the real one and the story behind it. Can't give enough praises to the men and women who really do the chasing to get us the science we need to make a safer world from Tornadoes.

This is an excellent movie. I highly recommend it.

I missed this movie in theatres earler this year, so being the fan of disaster movies that I am, I was anxious to get the Blu-Ray and give it a spin at home. Technically, the movie is great. Picture is as expected of a new release. The 5.1 DTS MA Soundtrack is amazing. If you have a good home theatre and want to show it off, this is a great disc to do it with. Aside from the lead actor, Richard Armitage, the movie is filled with stereotype characters that make dumb decisions that cause them to get injured or killed. The movie is also another of the "found footage" type, with nearly every character having a camcorder or cell phone "filming" everything. Nevertheless, I thought the film was entertaining enough for at least a rental. My rating is based solely on the fact that the disc is technically superb.

I have been a fan of tornadoes for a long time. I thought this movie was pretty good, except for a few things. At some points, the acting isn't great and the dialogue can be a little cheesy, such as "This is the largest storm that's ever been!". I also thought that the movie could have been longer. But the special effects are incredible and the tornadoes are amazing!

Overall, the movie was OK at best, as far as story line. Visual effects were done quite well. The story fell in to the usual traps of people making bad decisions, like a tornado is coming right at you, less than a block away and you stand there videoing it! Plus the scene of the 2 kids getting trapped in the building with water coming in, yet they could not get out. At least Twister had a love story written in!!

My son and I rented the blue ray from the red box right before the holidays. We cranked up the surround sound and I tell you what....we never even moved let alone talked during the whole length of the movie. That has never happened before. i thought it was a "multiple natural disasters at once" scenario from what little I knew about it, but it's ALL KINDA tornadoes! I really think that this weather is actually coming for us, but I put that in the back of my mind. I then knew what I was getting Daddy for Christmas. Way back when ....our FIRST MOVIE EVER WITH SURROUND SOUND...... ...CHRISTMAS DAY of course...... TWISTER!!!! So loud it shook the windows! SO THIS IS THE NEW super fabulous version... we loved it
