Anyone will probably say Twister is the definitive tornado movie, and that certainly seems true, but there hasn't been many and I believe this is the first true theatrical release of a tornado based weather movie since Twister came out in the 90s. Having said that if you enjoy disaster movies or a good but not great action film then this one's for you. Its not a bad movie, some of the cast are lackluster in their performances, the plot (tornado of fire?) is sometimes sketchy, and the CG effects aren't the best, but if you can put that aside your likely to enjoy or get a kick out of this one.

We loved this movie. It was a huge wake up call on how we under estimate mother natures incredible power! The very realistic portrayal of our nations most tragic weather and the devastation it can bring! The storm chasers, scientists & weather enthusiasts deserve much more recognition for the work they do to find ways to keep us all safe during these horrific natural disasters.

I like the visual and audio effects that were used in the movie, they look very real, also show how people react in a natural disaster, and especially since performed as real as possible, as in real life

"Into the Storm" is a great movie for families to watch together. There is so much action and great special effects, it had me on the edge of my seat the whole time. I definitely recommend watching!

I really enjoyed into the storm. As I said, it was a very straight forward movie that knew what it was and did not try to have some deeper meaning and go an extra 45 minutes. Entertaining and very fun.

I love natural disaster movies; especially anything weather related. This movie really satisfied my appetite for tornado movies. I was leery about it initial because it's one of those movies where it is supposedly footage shot from personal cameras. The cameras' footage didn't make me dizzy. There was a lot of action. I was hoping for a sequel.

In lieu of global warming, this movie brings a reality look of what can transpire. The special effects are amazing. Though the idea may be exaggerated, there is a possibility that such could happen.

Not very realistic at all, but GREAT movie to listen to if you want some loud action and unique plot twists. Living in texas, this movie is a little more relatable lol.

Good for a demo of your surround system. The 5.1 is engulfing. Content is your basic thriller, though unrealistic at times. Good info into the background of storm chasers. Overall, entertaining

This is a movie I really enjoy. Can you poke holes through storyline and effects? Yes. It is a fun movie to watch for the visuals and sound. Plot is just ok, but it sucks you in. Tense moments.

Good copy of movie but the cover case is nooooo good. I had to change the cover case. Other then that , looks like its a copy but its good.

Saw this movie in the theater and enjoyed it. Was one of the reasons for getting it as a gift. I also bought a copy for myself. Very good special effects.

This movie looks like it wants to be a modern version of Twister. It's good but doesn't quite make it though the special effects are much better. I'd have liked to have seen a 3D version.

I was hoping this was a movie was going to be a lot like Twister but this lack the action I expected. It's a good movie but I would still say Twister carries more fun through the movie.

The amazing visuals provided by the Blu-ray make Into the Storm a must watch. The thrills are never ending and the destruction by the thunderous storms make every moment awe inspiring.

My husband and I watched "Storm Chasers" on Netflix and it was so cool that they were trying to get tornado shots for this movie! The storm chasers kept saying, I have to get inside the tornado for this shot for this movie called Into the Storm.....It was so cool to watch the movie and relating the actors back to the people on Storm Chasers :)

Wasn't sure if I would like this movie but I did. Different story line and CGI effects from Twister. Did start out a little slow. Good popcorn flick.

This movie had a good story line. I love Twister BUT current CGI technology makes it much more exciting than Twister. The tornadoes are crazier and more plentiful. Great movie!!

It is always interesting to see the effect of the nature on screen. That brings a better understand on how tornadoes affect people's lives. A lot of action and sad moments.
