Turbotax Deluxe is a great program if you don't sell a stock or bond in a tax year. They as much as hide Schedule D, the form that records capital gains and losses. Yes, it's there if you look for it. You need to understand this before you buy, or be less than happy about it. As an alternative to raising prices, I think they are aiming folks with stock investments to the more expensive version of the package. Product itself is better for me than its competitors, but the online communities are not filled with experts--a lesser point for many.
