I have been doing my own taxes my while life and this is Seychelles better than the days of of paper booklets. I used another tax program for part of one year and returned it! This is so great about small there are explanations along the way for everything. I did have to Google some things to get better clarification. I do believe you can live chat and call with any other questions you may have, if need be. I will be doing this again next year as this was my first full year with a DS company!

I have used Turbo Tax for over 20 years. It handles my 51-page return very competently. It DOES help if you know how things SHOULD look on the completed tax forms so that you can check to make sure you used the product correctly and made all of your entries in the correct place. If you do lots of "allocations" or combined business and personal use or combined rental and personal residence you do need to be VERY careful as that is not foolproof in Turbo Tax

It works simply and is easy to install, the update is seamless and backup are simple to implement.

This is the 6th year I have used TurboTax for my tax preparation. I am by no means knowledgeable in tax preparation but TurboTax makes is extremely easy and user friendly and makes money saving suggestions for you as you proceed. After you use it for the first time, your computer saves the previous years return and imports all of your information so you only have to input your new w-2 info. Great program and worth the money!

I've been using TurboTax Home and Business for about six years now. I have a regular W-2 job, a tutoring business, and do freelance writing. The latter two have income and expenses. I'm pretty organized all year, and TurboTax gets the job done quickly and easily. Plus - it automatically picks up information on my investments, so I don't have to figure out long-term, short-term, tax exempt, whatever. Love it.
