I have been using Turbo Tax for many years. This year I found it even more user friendly. The dreaded task of doing taxes was a bit easier this year. I think in addition to buying Turbo Tax it's good to take into consideration that Intuit has telephone support if there are any questions you have along the way. I have definitely taken advantage of that.

For years I have tried online version of tax software but decided to give this one a try. Omg, it took me forever to figure out how to transfer my online data from prior year into this software. After navigation it's different income and deductible section, which was friendly, tried to submit tax return online. The return got rejected without explanation on the issue, so ended up printing out the tax return and mailed it out. Such a hassle! I will file my return online next year.

This is my first year using Turbo Tax. It was extremely easy to use. The software guides you through the process and when you are unsure, it lets you click the help button for definitions and explanations. Any information from your federal tax forms, that is needed for your state tax forms, is automatically entered into your state forms.

Easy to use and helps with questions regarding deductions

I've been using TurboTax for years. Highly recommend it. You can even deduct the cost from your taxes. If you have a mortgage and other tax deductible expenses or rental property, this is for you. So much better than tax preparer. You have control and can run different scenarios to see what works best and how to plan for next year.

I have been using TurboTax and it's early MacinTax variation (they bought) since the mid 1980s. Every year my wife frets at whether I'll get done in time and every year I make it thanks to TurboTax.... The software heritage that Intuit has continued to meet high standards for is great. Yes...... you can do your own taxes!!!

TurboTax is a critical tool for today's citizens to make sure you avoid mistakes that can impact your credit, your finances, and possibly your criminal record. Best Buy always has a competitive price, especially when bundled with Quicken updates. Every year I pursue updates and every year I end up back at Best Buy!

I have used Turbo Tax for more than a decade, preferring to do my own taxes than pay big money to a CPA. The software is easy to use. I especially appreciate Turbo Tax filling forms with last year's information, and the easy steps to itemize charitable contributions helps me save every year.

I've used other tax software but I always come back to Turbo Tax. It makes downloading income from investments and other sources easy. Some Tax Software does not have all the brokers listed as approved brokers and makes it impossible to digitally download investment gains and losses.

While Turbo Tax works very well, sometimes it would be nice if it would explain things a bit. For example, when you enter an HSA contribution, the tax due does not decrease as I expected. Quite a few steps later, the interview finally got around to asking about the high-deductible health plan, and the tax due decreased at that time. It would be helpful if Turbo Tax explained things like that as it went along.

I have been using TurboTax for 20 years now. All my info from last year is automatically carried over to this year. Items like name, address, occupation, dependents, state and federal refunds make filing a piece of cake.

I have used turbo tax for a long time now and it is always a good user friendly product. Make sure you buy the version that suits your needs. Do not buy the most expensive thinking it is better. Each version covers different items. Read the description and buy accordingly.

First time I've done my own taxes in several years. Had good tools available. Let me import all my trading account activity which saved hours of manual entry. If you don't do it all in one sitting its a little hard to get back and pick up where you left off, but other than that pretty easy. Make sure you have last years tax information handy when you go to do the online filing.

The government writes tax laws and instructions that are so ambiguous it takes a law firm, a CPA firm, a Judge, and a translator to explain what they mean. The common "Joe" is stymied to understand the vernacular. Turbo is the Rosetta Stone of tax preparation.
