Easy setup. Works everytime. Works best if you shut down one machine. Can bring other machine out of standby.

This is a low price KVM and works great. My company has 5 of them, never had any issue.

Wow. Ok. This monitor switch just works and it was simple. Now I can toggle between my Windows 10 box and my CentOS box with the same killer keyboard and mouse with just a button click. Genius device at a great price.

I recently purchased a new computer, but my old machine still worked. In order to access some of my old files, I was going to purchase a monitor to use with the old machine. Then my brother told me about the 2-port usb switch which allows me to use one monitor and switch between the two computers. It was very easy to set up and is a great device to have.

I don't know how the video connections work, but the mouse and keyboard connections are fantastic. Because I didn't need the video cable, I don't like the bulky video cables attached to the unit. I'd rather have had the option to use my own cables -- or not. But if I'd needed the video connection, I might be singing a different song. Maybe I should have given this 5 stars.

I am now using two computers but didn't want to deal with dual keyboards and mice. This KVM switch worked great to allow me to switch my keyboard, video monitor, and mouse between the computers. The toggle switch sits on my desk and makes it easy to switch between computers. There is a short delay on the monitor when you switch, but it is quick.

The KVM switch is a great and inexpensive way to use one monitor for two computers. I bought a new Mac Mini and still wanted to view files on my old Windows PC to determine what to move over to the new system. Works on both systems and is just what I needed.

Bought this to switch a Logitech Orion Spark and a Razer Mamba 2012 between a custom Windows 7 machine and a Mac Mini for programming. Had to unplug the Mamba and plug it back in a few times to get it working but I believe this is a problem with the Razer. Switches over in less than a second, no lag which is especially nice since this is high end and responsive gear. The switch button cord should be more than lengthy to accommodate most people's needs, and the rubber pad at the bottom keeps it from moving around on my desk. HDMI KVM switches are insanely expensive for ones that work decent so I bought a 3 way HDMI switch made by PPA for 12 bucks and combined with this simple KVM and the result is a smooth transition between machines. Basically I have to push one more button for 1/15 the cost of a decent KVM. I can't comment on the video quality as I'm not using the VGA connections.

i cannot comment on the video aspect of the device as i only use it for keyboard and mouse, but it works well and its very quick to change inputs, although my windows 8 pc picks up my devices faster than my windows 7 pc.. even though the windows 7 pc is much more powerful and is connected via usb 3.0

I bought this for my wife to use for work. Now, since she only has one monitor for 2 computers, she has plenty of room on her desk to WORK!! Great product, haven't had any problems. The LED indicator is a plus.

I use this in my system to have the ability to use one of my monitors from my main system run off my work laptop while working from home. Added a 4 four port usb hub to one of the ports I plugged the keyboard and mouse in to it and a USB drive to the other port to share the usb storage .

Purchased a new HP Win 8.1 to replace my old XP but wanted to keep the old XP. Multiple key boards and mice and monitors was a pain so this switch works great. Easy to install and switch between computers.

Set-up up two computers at home to the same monitor/keyboard/mouse set-up with this KVM switch. The switching is fairly reliably with a reasonable lag, but the monitor resolution is sometimes off depending on which computer it starts up with. Otherwise, it does its job reliably.

We use a dual-monitor setup at my house, with 2 separate computers. Although the monitors each have a DVI and a VGA input, we use this KVM to keep the main monitor on "VGA-only" input. This makes it so that the computers always wake up at the press of the KVM button. It has been in use for over 2 months with no issues. Video display quality is still great, keyboard and mouse always respond. If I were to do it over I probably would have gotten the version that includes audio, but for the price this version was a no-brainer. Always works, easy to set up, great price.

The IOGear KVM switch is perfect for switching a mouse, keyboard, and display between two computers. My desktop runs Ubuntu and I have a Windows 8.1 notebook and use this product to switch the input and output devices between the two instantly. Works great!
