I bought this to replace an older IO unit that had worn out. I like this one because its easy to use. Only negatives are that the cords are fairly short and the little switch unit that sits on your desk looks like it will wear out easily. Other than that, I like it.

Anyone whose had to deal with two computers and one monitor knows that alot of splitter options out there are either over-priced or cumbersome. In this case a minor tweak to the general concept makes this device perfect for those of us who want functionality, but not at the expense of desktop clutter. Now instead of having a clunky box sitting on the desktop with a button the size of a grape to switch between, they've added a thin lengthy wire with a tiny button that can be snaked through the tiniest of computer desk wire managing holes. I might not be describing this well enough, but this product works exactly as described and for a fair price. I'm quite satisfied.

This little device works flawlessly. I really like the little switch which lets me hide the device somewhere else. I use it with a wireless keyboard and mouse combo and it works great.

I buy these KVM switches all the time as I have a bunch of customers that for one reason or the other end up using 2 PC's side by side and this KVM works great! easy to setup and use.

I have 2 separate computers and wanted to remove the clutter by having one keyboard and mouse. This fit the bill perfectly. I was able to install a wireless mouse/keyboard with the single usb dongle and it worked right out the gate without issue.

Being as space was limited in the room where all our security system and security cam stuff is I wanted to be able to have my computer and security system use one monitor to save space. The KVM I purchased allowed me to do just that

I connected my laptop and my desktop to the switch and are now able to use double screen, regular mouse and keyboard with my laptop with a click. Much easier than unplugging/re-plugging everything. Works great.

Didn't think they still made these items. Was looking for a quick way to use my monitor and keyboard with my work laptop and this was exactly what I needed. Low cost and easy to set-up. No complaints.

Very easy set-up. Swiftly swap from one PC to the other PC while working on the same monitor. Although I am still working on how best to work my wireless keyboard and mouse into the set up, it hasn't been an issue to-date.

This product exactly what it was supposed to do and had to say I have two servers and it enables me to switch back-and-forth from one computer to the next with no problem is it very easy set up

Needed to use my old and new computer but didn't want 2 monitors taking up desk space - after research on Google discovered this - it is just what I needed and really makes a smooth transition from one to the other.

I purchased this to switch between two different desktop computers that I have with a single monitor, keyboard and mouse. It does the job just fine. However, I would recommend that you make sure you check the specifications to ensure that the monitor connection and display resolution that you are looking for is supported.

I've always been a fan of IO Gear products. I needed a 2-port USB capable KVM, and this fit the bill nicely. In fact, I bought the same model when I had a need for another 2-port KVM. Highly recommend!

I purchased a new computer this last spring. It came with Windows 10. My old computer still worked fine, but the rest of the world was upgrading and moving forward, but my Windows Vista just didn't have the power or memory to keep up. Plus, it was taking Windows 7 or higher to be compatible with Windows 10. Meanwhile, I had years and years of files, photos, programs, stuff I used every day, but couldn't move to the new computer. So, every day, I would have to unplug most of the cables from one computer, and plug them into the other computer. I had never heard of a KVM Switch, of course, I had never been in this situation before. The KVM switch lets you run two computers at once, both using just one keyboard and one mouse. There is a small button on a six foot wire that attaches to the switch that allows you to place near you, so you can, at the touch of the button, go from one computer to the other. Great product! No more reaching around the backs of the computers plugging and unplugging!

Bought to use between my old XP and new Windows 7 PC. Didn't want to get rid of XP PC when updates stopped so now not online but can use with one keyboard/mouse and monitor. So easy to install and I bought it when it was on sale for one day, online only and saved 30%. Still great at regular price, just got lucky

This device does exactly what it's supposed to and exactly what I needed. I wanted to switch between two computers (one running XP and one running 7 Pro) and be able to use the same monitor, keyboard, and mouse. The device worked right out of the box and has been very reliable so far. Only issue is that there is sometimes a slight delay with the keyboard and/or mouse when I switch from one computer to the other. I think this is a great device for the price.

I am so ecstatic about this product. It is exactly what I was looking for. It works without a hitch between my PC and Mac Mini; which I use a wireless keyboard and mouse between the two.

Great product! I am able to connect my docked Surface Pro to my home computer's monitor, keyboard and mouse and switch back and forth between the computers by clicking a switch.

Plug and play. Easy to install. Used new PC keyboard and mouse to operate both old and new PC with only one screen. Love the easy access switch for transfer between PC's.

The 2 port USB switch had clear instructions on how to set it up. No tools required and it was done in a minimum of time. It worked the first time for both computers.
