Switching between computers is at the click of a button and virtually seamless. Works with Win 7 & Win 8.1. Saves a lot of desk space!

Was able to eliminate a monitor off our desk and share 1 with my home computer and work laptop. I also have a wireless mouse and keyboard combo that uses one USB receiver so I was able to use the 2nd USB for a printer.

My 2nd purchase of this item

I switch monitor, keyboard and mouse from one of my systems to the the other quickly and effortlessly. Might try switching a flag drive next spins I combine mouse and keyboard.

Great if you need 2 computers

Let me share the use of one monitor, mouse and a keyboard, between my XP PC and my new PC. No problems. Installed in minutes. I recommend it. Good price. Nice cables.

Works Great with Win/Mac Setup

It switches between the two, seamlessly. I was worried about it not working with two different OS's, but it does, and it works great. Highly Recommended.

Works well except one thing!!!!

I was using it for a week or two and it was great being able to switch back and forth. That was until I realized that I had to use speakers for each computer simply because there is no audio switching with this switch. I eventually returned this one and upgraded to the same brand with audio switching. Also the upgraded one does NOT have a separate remote.
