The instructions were a bit difficult to follow and the resolution wasn't as good I expected. I had to use the highest resolutions to get a decent image. I also didn't like that I had to go through several steps to convert the images into a format that I could use online for blogging. However, it work adequately for the price.

I was hoping the slide hopper would make things go easier, but the slides wouldn't drop into position unless I pressed down on each one to make it snap into place. I tried adjusting the lever mentioned in the instructions if slides wouldn't go into the scanner, with no difference. So, only one slide in at a time. I could have lived with that, but every scan had to be pulled into Lightroom to recover the picture as they were all too dark and grainy. I also tried adjusting the picture options in the scan process, again, to no avail. Plus, many of the slides I have from my father were not the 35mm format and I found that parts of the image was lost. So I put this aside, as it's only useful if your slides are very bright and in perfect condition. I ended up getting an Epson scanner that can scan 4 slides at once, and gives a great image.

I have 60 year old 35mm slides I haven't looked at in years. The unit works as advertised but takes a little getting used to. I have converted 1650 slides already and am just getting started. I also converted 35mm blk/white negatives of my wedding. The negatives lasted longer than the marriage. I love this product.

Scanned 35mm negatives. Very easy to setup and use. It is time consuming to do negatives as there is not an 'easy feed' option. I haven't tried doing slides, 110 or 126 negative yet but anticipate that it will do as well as the 35mm.

I think you know what to expect when you spend this much on a product that does this. It is very adequate, but be prepared to make adjustments to the photos afterwards. Other than that, it flies through scans quickly, and negs, and slides. it is great for the price, i would recommend this for non professional digital archiving of old family memories!

Love this I found an old box of slides for 5.00 bucks at a thrift store. I bought this and now I can see them all on my big screen with crystal clear scans of what is on the slides and negatives! Great product no problems!!
