This is a very useful device that will easily scan in old KODAK slides and print both color and b/w negatives. It is very easy to use and it was satisfying to be able to view photos that I forgot I had!

I bought this hoping for a little more usability than it actually has. It does a fair job of imaging the slides, could use a bit more light adjustment range. I was hoping that USB connection to the computer would provide a live view of the image, but found that it's only to review the SD card. For the price, this does a good job. I'd recommend it, with conditions, to someone looking to preserve older slides and negatives.

I bought this scanner to digitize my old 35mm slides and it performed well. A warning; you have to make sure the lens at the bottom of the scanner is clean. You must also make sure your slides are clean. The LED screen is small, so you may not be able to pick up a slide that is dirty, damaged, over or under exposed. Your mistake will be evident when transferred to your computer screen and you have to rescan the slide. Overall a great value with good results.

I have converted about 150 slides out of a total of 900. So far, it is easy to use. The machine adjusts to handle the different thicknesses of the slides. I can convert 40 slides in about 8 minutes.

This slide scanner is extremely easy to operate. It comes with an SD card that you can use to transfer the stored pictures to your computer. It has a brightness adjuster to modify to pictures before you store them that is handy as well.

I was able, over a couple of days of effort, to scan a few hundred 35mm and 110 film negatives into digital format, and do what editing was available on this device, to my great satisfaction. It enabled me to reconnect with family members and recollections of 30 years ago, with a minimum of pain, and at a very reasonable cost.

This machine allows you to view slides and if you like them you can put them onto your computer and then onto a DVD if you like with music in the background. It's pretty amazing to me because the slides that we have are over 50+ years old and even though the slides are so old the colors and picture quality are still really amazing! Love this Ion Film 2 SD Plus! It's Awesome!

I was looking for something easier/faster for 35mm slides and negatives versus using a flatbed. Works great. Not super high resolution, but the images look as good as when I would get them developed at a drug store years ago. Nice that it comes with the memory card. Be prepared to do color adjustment to your preferences.

I found this product easy to use and easy to set up. Several options, and the slide scanned to a card, which can be connected to the computer. Reasonably prices.

I had slides going back to the 60's (in Vietnam) and was able to capture and save before completely lost to the aging process. Nice tool - very easy to use. Would recommend to most of the potential users out there.

I bought this in a pinch to scan old negatives to use at a funeral. It worked well, and I quickly had my pictures on a disk. In going through my negatives I found many small negatives which won't fit the holder provided. I intend to contact the manufacturer to see what they suggest. Otherwise, I was happy with the performance and ease of use. Had it come with adjustable negative holder, I could have given it 5 stars

We have been trying to scan our parents old slides on to the computer. This is the fourth scanner that we have tried. This one is working out great for us. Pretty fast and easy to use.

Works great! Easy to scan slides! We scanned about 100 slides in 30 minutes. Happy with the quality!

Does a great job turning slides into jpgs. I wish my slides were better though (can't fix that). The only glitch is that with some slides, the feeder sometimes feeds more than one at a time and jams. (But didn't slide projectors do that too?)

Works easily and quickly to scan slides and film. My first run with it images seem to have quite a bit of contrast but for sharing on social media this is fine. Will still have a lab do my more critical work for making nice prints.

Have a ton of old 35mm slides that go back over 40 years. Wanted to digitize them so they could be viewed by computer and so that they will last forever. This device does this very easily. It also makes it possible to do some image processing on the digital version to improve and compensate for some of the aging effects. The next step is to see if I can add audio/text before I completely forget what some of these pictures are.

The slide tray jams on almost every slide insertion. The quality of the electronic slide is OK. There aren't a lot of choices for slide conversion. For the price this is OK.

I purchased the Ion Audio Film 2 SD Plus Slide and Negative Scanner to transfer my collection of over 1000 slides to a digital format, without the cost of having it done by a professional lab. The unit has performed very well and provided good results. It is quick and easy to use. Note: Make sure the slide or negative is clean before transfer, as dust and fingerprints will show on the transferred imaged.

Easy and efficient tool for converting old negatives to digital files. Get those old pics online and share the memories.

was able to transfer old slides to a sd card and then transfer them to my computer easily. You do have to pay attention to right and left on slides as you transfer them. Easier to use one slide at a time versus stacking them in the feeder , especially if they are old slides.
