    This scanner is just what I need for scanning our wedding pictures in a digital format and device. It looks like it is very hands on for someone who is not a geek and doesn't appreciate all the computer gadgets to make stuff happen.

    I liked the fact that it did not need to be plugged into a computer. I liked the feature where you could load 3 slides at a time and save them to an SD card

    This is a must have item to transfer photos, slites and photos to your computer. However, in transferring glossy photos, you get an UNWANTED image in the capture. This reduces the value of the saved image

    Very easy to use but that's the only good thing I can say about the Ion Slide, Negative and Picture scanner. Might work for someone who just wants to keep results for their records. I returned it for a no-hassle refund and was very impressed by the fast, courteous service I received.

    Does an OK job, takes time to insert pictures into the holder. You will need to crop the photos.

    This was OK for viewing slides on the built in screen. I was not able to transfer slides to my computer in a reasonable way. It took a very long time per slide.
