Purchased this from a "special sale" rack. Should have been more wary of such a low-priced speaker. Never could get a bluetooth connection established between this and either my android cell phone or my Samsung tablet computer, whereas they have subsequently connected easily with another bluetooth speaker I bought. Sound quality is mediocre though not terrible. Was only able to use it via a connector cable to link it to phone or computer, never wirelessly.

I’m sure it would be great IN the pool or anywhere else where it might get drenched but for everyday listening, the sound quality isn’t the best.

The ion-audio plunge I just gave as a gift, sunk. The recipient was excited, we read the directions, charged it fully, got the Bluetooth going , started playing music, couldn’t hear it so hit the volume up area- The ion automatically went to max. Pressed volume down and went to no sound. Tried volume adjustment on the device it was connected to and had problems. Went back to max volume because that is it, was playing a selected song. Had his music on shuffle- song ends as does everything else. Pushed play so the next song could play, no volume, etc. You get the picture. Going to return this and buy a different brand portable blue tooth speaker to replace this bust. Oh ya- tried connecting with Ion customer service- both the phone number and email- neither one works to connect for assistance.

Plunge portable Bluetooth speaker was as not as loud as expected.

For the full regular price this would NOT be a good deal at all!!!
