Great sound , brings back memories. Love the Bluetooth capabilities

My kids (ha ha 44 and 45 years old) loves this boombox. It's a solid sound, with a full range dial tuner seldom seen that gives a haptic sense of reality--just like a real radio. The tone shakes your booty just right. And hey, you can recover on your fav flash drive and even your futuristic mini SD to play back in your car or yacht. Live and get a good booty shake.

My first impressions having received this for the holidays is that while the audio is loud and acceptable, the bass is almost non existent even with the Bass Boost engaged. It just makes the sound louder!! The cassette does play at the correct speed so that's nice. The VU meters is a Joke...the volume needs to be quite loud for the meters to even move a fraction! I thought the unit was defective at first as I didn't see the meters moving at all. The radio is not bad but obviously it is not digital so tuning to stations is old school. I have not tried any of the other functions of this unit so I can't comment on those. I bought this when it was on sale at $69.99. The unit is not bad if like me you still have cassettes laying around that you haven't listened to in years but this is not worth it at it's current price of $139.99. Wait till it goes on sale again or try looking for something else. I am recommending this however but with reservations!!

Like the one I bought many years ago(Panasonic) except doesn't reverse cassette automatically. Buttons for functions appear backwards but once you know this you adapt..great sound and very happy to have a Cassette player..tried to get one for my new home theater system but told components not made anymore by magnolia personnel.

If it was just a regular boombox I would probably give it three stars at the most. But the additional features, such as the USB and rechargeable battery, makes it a little bit more appealing. To be able to record your tapes digitally makes it a nice gift even if it may be a slight flaw during the recording. I like it glad I bought it

Fun retro boom box. For those that still have tapes this is a great piece to play those tapes

Purchased this ION audio-Retro Boombox for outside listening in the backyard/porch! It has great sound and with the retro throw back listening to a lot of old cassette tapes that I haven’t heard in a long time. The price was right, the sound is very good, and I would recommend buying one!

Maintained the look and feel of the 80’s why adding in modern technology. It’s nice to also be able to transfer directly to a usb drive. He quality of MP3 doesn’t match new compression like AAC but still a decent copy of your old cassettes. I like that you can send audio from your Bluetooth capable devices to it as well.

Product is great. Easy to use. It doesn’t sound that great. It’s nice and loud for what it is. It has decent tone. Not clear highs. Not good lows. Kinda what I’d expect if I bought $10 desktop speakers. They’re kinda cheap. Glad I bought on sale. Wouldn’t buy for its normal price
