Absolutely love !!! Get lots of compliments on the style of the radio, nice combination of playing old mixed cassette tapes to being able to hook up Bluetooth and listening to Apple Music as well.

This is a great radio, that can do AM/FM, Bluetooth, Cassette, and USB Drive. You can use batteries, or the rechargeable battery that is installed. If you grew up in the 80's this is great nostalgia item.

I was happy to see that this item looks just like the one I used to have in the 90's. I have been okaying tapes on it and so far so good. I have high hopes for this unit.

This product sounds and plays cassettes great. The transfer from tape to micro-sd card works well but does not let you make file particians to easily navigate through your recording. Each step is determined by the start- stop point of each recording. The AM radio is only good on strong local stations and the FM reception is about average. The bluetooth performance is absolutely perfect. Amazingly great audio for a portable product and the rechargeable battery is a real plus! Despite the listed short comings, I am very well pleased with this product.

When you car software need an update (they change you for that) and you want to listen to music Or Drive in movie on top of your Jeep, you will realize this is a most. Disappointed about the build in battery. It will not charge and the directions do not tell you how to.

Love this retro box with the latest technology, like bluetooth, USB and others. I only wish the sound quality was as good as some of the latest bluetooth speakers. All in all it still sounds very good!

As a child of the 80s, I bought this boombox for a portable way to be able to rip my old cassettes to MP3s. While I haven’t had a chance to do that yet, here are a few other comments: overall its build quality is good (reminds me a lot of the Emerson that I had as a kid), however the toggle selector switches on the right do seem very cheap and could break easily. The sound quality is okay (NOT as good as the Emerson that I had).

I purchased this item as a gift to my brother in law. He called me Xmas morning very excited about his new (throwback) stereo. He stated the sound and quality of it was great!

This was a Christmas gift for my son. I could not resist the throwback vibe. Everyone in the house is enjoying the music quality. The cassettes are fun as well. Thank you!

Bought it for my son for Christmas as a throw back for me, of course. He really likes it. Just learned that this can be charged-unplugged & used wireless-I didn't know that..so that's real cool. For 70 bucks, I think it's a good deal & so far no issues..

Let’s get old school. Absolutely love this radio. Easy to set up and use. My wife brought out all her old mix tapes and stuff she recorded from the radio back in the day.

Got this as a present for a family member and she has told me that she is very happy with the product and that she has used it a lot and has had a lot of fun with it.

I bought this radio for my older brother. He loves the radio brings him back to childhood memories. The quality is good and sound is perfect. I want to get one for myself now.

I didn't purchase this to use any of the recording features, so I won't really report on those. I did, however, love the idea of having an 'old school' boom box with a cassette player (yes, I actually have a case-load of those still) that I could keep in my office at work. Pros: The unit feels solid. Its got a refreshing heft to it that makes you think that it will hold up to some hauling around. I wanted to throw it on my shoulder like an old 80s movie and walk around with it blasting. It has level indicators, the needle-style that looks cool when you start pumping the volume. They dance back and forth and bring back some cool memories of old 70s and 80s receivers. It plays tapes, and does it well. I've got a case of tapes that I had collected over a twenty-year period or so that I haven't been able to listen to in a decade. I like the fact that it has an auto-stop feature that automatically stops the tape at the end of playing it. The auto-stop doesn't work when you are fast-forwarding or rewinding the tapes, however, so plan accordingly. AM/FM radio is strong. Even in my office, buried at the bottom of the building, I was able to get a signal without an issue. Bluetooth works perfectly. It synced immediately with my S10 5G, and I played Spotify when I wasn't listening to tapes. Tone controls and a bass boost. There is a memory card slot that you can play files off of. Cons: Sound quality is so-so. Maybe I'm used to the fantastic sound of the other portable speakers I've had, and that's why the BoomBox doesn't quite sound as good, but I was a tad disappointed in the sound. It is a little harsh on the ears at times. I got occasional pops from the speakers. Not sure why, and I haven't really turned the volume up. In conclusion, I'd rate this unit at a 4.5. For the money, it has a ton of cool features, looks awesome sitting on my desk, and sounds good enough to keep.

Bought for my son, who wanted one of these for Christmas. Definitely brought back memories of when I had one in school :). He tried it out and really liked it. Now to get some tapes he can use it with!!

This takes me back to when I was a kid. I like all the details & the sound is great. I do not like the fact that the case is plastic.

Tweeters aren’t real. Sound quality is horrendous. VU meters are novelty at best. The build is solid, but it’s all facade. That said, it does look cool. This could have been so much better. The rechargeable battery is a neat feature, and the Bluetooth connectivity is a great feature even with the vintage stylings. I would have paid a solid $100 more for them to match the sound quality to the styling. Returned it almost immediately.

Whoa is this the '80's meets today's technology or what???? Loved rockin' out to my favorite cassettes with this bad a** jam box machine!! Get you one and relive your better days!

I just got this for my 15 year old son and we've been basking in quality Father/Son time ever since. I still have hundreds of cassettes from growing up in the 80's and this is not only a very cool retro experience for him, but it's a total trip down nostalgia lane for me. We've been listening to classic albums, talking about the sleeve art, etc. We're even mounting all the the cassette racks on the wall today. Tell me... how do you put a price on that? As for the quality of the actual product... it's not as sturdy as the actual boom boxes from "back in the day" and it will need some externals to get the full analog benefit from the sound but all in all well worth the purchase. Well done!

My father really likes this boombox. He really likes that he is able to transfer cassette recordings onto a usb by using this boombox. Works really well.
