great idea to blend the present with the past. great sound works well but the sound quality is not so good when recording from bluetooth

I love this boombox. I bought it to play tapes and listen to the radio on my deck. Sound is good. Glad to be able to listen to my tapes on the go.

Play it loud or soft, but PLAY it! This is super for nostalgia. A bit on the expensive side, but you can't put a price on reliving history.

Purchased for Xmas and so far enjoying the nostalgic look of 80’s and also the current technology with Bluetooth etc. sounds great.

The Retro boom box was exactly what my husband asked for after finding some old cassette tapes. The sound and quality are great. I Highly recommend it.

Great sound for radio and cassette tape, but wish it had a CD player. Good deal for the money.

Blast from the past. Audio isn't the best, but it's such a cool throwback that plays Bluetooth audio as well as casettes. Very cool.

This is the best of both worlds, our daughter got to experience old school and enjoy the new with it also being Bluetooth ready.

Have a ton of Grateful Dead and Jerry Band bootlegs. Can still listen to them, and link my Bluetooth capable devices as well. Very cool piece!

I have alot of cassettes from the 80s in good condition, I was looking for a cassette player and found this one excellent product!

I bought this because it reminded me of the ones everyone had when I was growing up. The first time I took it out of the box, I went to pull the antenna up and it broke off. My first immediate response was “what a piece of crap” and I intended to return it. But then I figured I could just find a replacement one and swap it with the little stub that was left. Overall it’s a fun radio to have and definitely a conversation starter.

Overall a very solid design, the indicators are not sensitive enough and only start moving when the volume is very high.

Nostalgic. Thats why it was bought but it does have great sound quality. Just couldn’t resist buying this for my husband

I don’t know why I expected this thing to sound better. I thought given the regular price it might be decent quality. It sounds like crap. I’ll admit, I am somewhat of an audio snob and have mid-level and higher end audio gear. But I’ve also to a JBL Flip 4 which sounds so much better than this. As does my Bose Soundlink Mini II (much smaller), and, well, just about every other audio device I’ve ever bought. These speakers must be absolute crap. It’s got decent volume, it’s just every combo of fiddling with bass and treble knobs does not satisfy my ear. I’m hoping it is at least good at cutting cassettes to MP3. It also apparently is rechargeable and has the option of 6 D cells, so it’s versatile. But couldn’t they have at least used decent cheap Chinese speakers and power? I may pack it back up and send it back. Or for what I paid, half price on holiday sales, maybe gift it. But I don’t know anyone I wouldn’t be embarrassed to gift it to because everyone knows I’m an audiophile. A kid may like this. It looks cool. The meters work. It’s decent sized and kids may enjoy it that don’t know any better. I suspect if you cranked this up it wouldn’t last long. Ample distortion at any higher volumes. So that’s my 2 cents. Best Buy has much better Bluetooth options for this money, smaller and better sound. Cheers.

Awesome boombox. I love it, great sound, took me back to D early 80’s! I recomend it!!

Awesome, just like the one I had back in the eighties except this has been updated with USB ports, sounds amazing and has some updated features like the aux and meters.

This was a gift for my mom and she loves listening to the old FM radio like we did back in the olden days. She has some cassettes she likes to listen to as well. Very nice stereo here.
