Great sound

I am so happy with this. It has some modern conveniences mixed with the old. It has a rechargeable battery even though it has the D batteries opening, I just keep the cord in there. I can't wait for warm weather so I can sit outback and enjoy my childhood music in it's original form.

Almost a FIVE!

Radio sound quality is good. My area location is full of interference after 9pm EST. My issue is I wanted good, solid sound for BOTH AM & FM. The FM is ok & AM reception is non existant for all times of the day. So..so disappointing. The AM/FM switch is weak to the point of forcing might break it off. Still considering a return.
