Amazing throwback boom box! I loved the fact that it has Bluetooth, a re chargeable battery, you can use regular batteries, or plug it to the wall, it’s very neat!!

My boyfriend has been eyeing this for Christmas and it was a successful surprise! It plays loud and connects to Bluetooth. It’s an attractive decoration as well.

I bought it as a gift for my brother I had to open it before I gave it to him. I almost kept it. Found some old cassettes and try it the sound is very good. Bluetooth and everything works good. Easy/ fast to charge. My brother love it too.

asked me to say some MC rhymes Can you believe a tape can last nearly 40yrs! Getting my first tape player in decades I had to grab some of my old "Profilin'" jams and Sucker MC was one of my all time favorites. Just look at this thing, If any of you are near my age you'd have some fond memories of lugging around the boom box to the beach, the street, or anywhere. My friends and I had bigger ones with detachable speakers, but the ION is just the right size and gives out just the right sound to take you back. The battery compartment even rattles like an old ghetto blaster - yes, it can use 6 D batteries. D micky ficky, D! (for those that remember the censored version). But with the 10hr rechargeable battery you'd have to want some serious nostalgia to get the D's. I had some other old tapes, some of when I was a kid making stupid recordings. I had always wanted to digitize those and using the ION Boombox it was a breeze. I plugged in a FAT32 formatted USB stick (didn't read to see if it supported NTFS or exFAT, but just about everything seems to support FAT32), pressed play and held the record button down on the side and the flashing light let me know I was capturing those days to disk. You can also record to an SD card. Recording from AUX, USB, Radio and Bluetooth are supported also. I didn't check to see if BT to USB recording was an option. Didn't think about that til just now, Sound is pretty good with great stereo separation. The bass isn't as deep as I hoped but it's does fine enough for most sessions. I wouldn't complain because this Boombox can get pretty loud! I think my one gripe about the unit is that the record button on the tape deck is just too big and pressing it accidentally while hitting play could be an issue. Most my old decks required pressing play and record but had them as separate buttons. On the ION the record is embedded into a large play button and is IMO too big. Making it like the little red button on old tape players would have been better. I bought a pack of four tapes and recording quality is good - c'mon, it's a tape. Don't expect CD quality. But dang tapes have gotten expensive from what I remember. I think I used to be able to get them four for a dollar. Bluetooth pairing went without issues and playback was as good with no dropouts. Radio reception was good also. But I can see myself bending that darn antenna like so many kids did back in the days, lol. That big antenna really helps with reception. I live in an area where most portable radios don't get very good reception. The ION did exceptionally well tuning in... with an ANALOG tuner! Yes, even the tuner is old school. I really love this boombox and am really considering getting another. It doesn't sound as good as some of the current gen BT speakers but this boombox does a lot more and makes you feel like a kid again. The biggest disappointment is that it didn't come with a bigger cardboard box. How am I suppose to bust some fresh moves with that little box?

Got it for my uncle as a Christmas gift. He loves it. Sound quality is pretty good & the added features like Bluetooth help keep it very usefull

Looks great, sounds good, and the Bluetooth and charging functions are really nice. Haven’t tried recording from Bluetooth to cassette yet. Overall I’m pleased with the boombox.

This thing has a built in battery and the option to use D batteries! Has the classic look, but with the new upgrades you would want and expect!

We love using this out on our deck to listen to Music while Grilling and hanging out. The Bluetooth works flawlessly. It even plays cassettes!

My husband has a lot of cassette tapes and now he can play them and still he has the ability to use Bluetooth and can play the radio he loves it.

Nice feature packed audio unit with great sound. Blue tooth and sd card are nice add in convenience, good fm am stations reception. A great price!

I gave this for a Christmas present for my husband and he loves it. And the sound is surprising crisp. He even has cassettes that he plays that sound great. The bluetooth was easy to connect.

This retro looking boom box works fine. The look and also that it played audiocassettes is why we bought it. Sounds fine.

Retro Boombox has a good sound, I was surprised to find a cassette player! I was able to play my old cassettes.
