So I received this item to review and after using it for several days here's my final thoughts!
The speaker is well made with solid feel to the enclosure with nice rubberized patterns on all sides that you would use to grab this speaker and go!
ION claims this speaker to be water resistant for splashing water instances. I haven't tested this but they did a great job with the rubber flaps to seal all of the ports, so Im sure it can handle a splash or two!
The Battery life so far has been great I only charged it once and have been using it for a couple days and also left it on for hours at a time and still have 2 bars remaining and so far im impressed! I think this combined with the ability to charge your devices via the USB port on the front panel will serve as a good speaker to take on weekend trips, tailgates, etc.
The AM/FM Radio is a RARE but welcome addition to the features of this speaker. I haven't seen many if any bluetooth speakers that include this feature, so kudos to ION there....
Pairing with your devices is also very easy! You just search for the speaker in your devices bluetooth setting and click it, and then it connects! 1-2-easy!!
The SOUND quality is also really good for a speaker in this price range! It goes pretty loud for the size and ION rates this as 20W of power. I have another speaker with 10W and can easily say this is twice as loud if not more.
I have done a Review and Tutorial on my channel Aluzion TV :
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qofIf2weSfg
I think this is an impressive speaker and compared to others much more expensive that do not have anywhere near the feature set this speaker has, it definitely worth a look!

In the era of bluetooth “smart” speakers, I always hesitate when it comes to a Bluetooth-only style speaker. In this case, it’s an outdoorsy speaker that allows for a microphone, turning it into a PA speaker. This model didn’t come with a mic, but there are a few others that do.
First off, it’s packaged well and has 3.5mm cable right on top as to not be lost. Another obvious accessory is the power cord, which is unfortunately not outdoor rated. I was a bit shocked, given it’s stated weather resistance. To be honest, I was hoping to leave it outside under the gazebo, but the cord will short out given any water; it's no different than a “powered” external hard drive; don’t leave it where it can be exposed to weather. So, in the house it lives.
In handling / using the speaker, some observations …
The pluggable areas, where you put your Mic cable and/or audio cable && the USB ports have nice, water-tight covers.
A handle in the rear is big enough to comfortably grab the speaker to move without fear of dropping it.
The buttons are a good size and have a good feel.
I first tried using the FM tuner, but didn’t have much luck. There isn’t an antenna and I’m not the best area for reception, so that didn’t get me much in the way of local channels. While scan did work to get some clear channels, it wasn’t something that I’d have kept it on.
Bluetooth pairing was easy; press the Bluetooth Button (-B-) and pop over to your phone, select the device and move along. Pairing a second phone wasn’t so cut-and-dried. I found myself toggling the voice feature (computer voice of: “pairing on”) while trying to get another device paired. That happens when you hold down the -B- button. Come to find out, simply pressing the -B- again will temporarily disconnect the current device and it will go into pairing mode again automagically.
Then, I enabled NFC on my phone and gave *that* a shot. It was pretty easy; just hold it where it says NFC on the box and “pairing successful” is called out. Just remember to disable NFC on your phone when you’re done.
One thing I did notice, however -- is how FAST it charged (not really, so keep reading). I unboxed it and went right to charging it. I expect any new toy to be unusable for the first 2-3 hours while charging. In this case, I watched the battery blink 1 bar, 2 bars, 3 bars, SOLID - within 15 minutes. I was thinking -- ‘wow, these must so new that they’re just about full from the factory.’ Nope. I gave it to the kid and within 20 minutes “low battery” chimed through the speaker. I let it sit overnight and we tried again the next day. No battery warnings and it didn’t seem to be breaking a sweat after a few hours. Very. Weird.
Moving on …
Any time I can take the complexity out of a multi-person tech device, I take those steps. In this case, I didn’t pair my kid’s phone with it, yet allowed the headphone jack and included 3.5mm cable to be used. At the same time, I used the USB port on the speaker (with my own charging cable) to keep the phone charging while playing music. Yes, a cable-cumbersome configuration it was, it wasn’t overly obnoxious. The charging port performed quite well at 1A (when the speaker was fully charged, obviously), adding some more battery percentage points to the phone during playback.
As for the sound, I was on the fence. At first, it was tinny and there was little bass. With other speakers, there’s no need to use any of the EQ settings on my phone or the App playing the music, it was all just there. Here, it tells you to adjust the settings on your device.
Some bassy reggae music was … meh on very low volume in doors, at night during my playing around. But, bringing it outside (where’s it’s meant to be) showed a different side. It was a fuller sound that I enjoyed.
So, if you need a traditional Bluetooth speaker for an outing, or if you have a large deck/patio, I suggest you give this thing a shot!

This speaker is well worth the money. I use it on my deck and it is more than loud enough. I was using a couple of blue tooth speakers with my iPod but with this speaker I can do that and also FM radio. Battery life is incredible! It will outlast my iPod and then some. It's also light weight and easy to transport. I made a very good choice by getting this speaker. Its water proof but I wouldn't leave it out in the rain.

This was not my first choice for a Bluetooth speaker but it was the only one available out of the others I had researched. It was priced a little higher than I wanted to spend but I went for it and I’m glad I did. This speaker is loud enough to use in my back yard with the kids. I haven’t taken it out anywhere yet but will test it out in our next beach trip.
The sound is great. I didn’t expect it to be this loud and the bass is very nice. I listen to a variety of music but when I listen to my R&B and hip hop I need that bass and this speaker did not disappoint at all.

Perfect Bluetooth speaker for your car or small house, apartment. It has crisp sound and clean bass. Not do much to rattle everything around you.
It's price is perfect. Way better than JBL and Altek Lansing. Charges fast and fits almost anywhere.

Bought this for a weekend getaway with friends and it was perfect. Definitely has enough sound to fill a good size outdoor space. Charged it on a Friday morning, and it was down to 25% on Sunday when we left. That’s with running it all evening Friday and and all day Saturday. It’s a great size too, about the size of a car battery, but light weight which my wife was excited about. Only “negative” is that the Bass isn’t stellar, but it still does a good job in my opinion. I haven’t tried a microphone with it so can’t comment on the PA part. For less than $100 this speaker is well worth it.

This is a good light quality good sounding speaker. Easy to follow directions and everything seems to work as stated and advertised. Doesn’t take long to charge and holds the charge for more than a decent amount of time. Surely worth the purchase and get hours of enjoyable playtime. All things considered it’s a good cool looking speaker and easy to carry from place to place.

Was able to use it right away, easy to lair, lightweight, good sound for use outdoors. I likenthat it has radio included because the last speaker I owned I had to use my phone app to listen to my radio station and then pair it to my phone, and if i received calls or had to walk away it would stop the music. With this one it’s separate so I can still take calls, walk away, or listen to voice messages, and the radio will keep playing on the speaker.

It has Bluetooth capability and AM/FM Radio. When it's plugged in, your actually charging the battery which lasted all day long! You can connect your phone through a wire. And charge your phone at the same time. Great sound! We had party 2 weeks ago. There were over 50 people here. It worked awesome!
