The Bluetooth connectivity is really simple and fast, it’s easy to set up, includes a quick start guide which makes everything simpler. The sound is good but, when turning up the volume to the max, the base is distorted. The volume needs to be balance with the device’s that is play the music. Other than that, everything it’s good, The battery last a lot but it depends on the volume and connection used.

Kind of small. But it serves its purpose. For now anyway.

Hubby purchased for when he was working alone at a basement job, and also realized it would be perfect to take on our boat this summer!!!

This is a great product. The charge holds for a long time and when we use it outdoors the radio stations sounnd good.

Paired up with blue tooth right away, good FM radio, good volume. Great for playing my play list on my phone in my boat.

This review will be unusually brief for me compared to most other reviews I have done in the past thanks to a couple broken fingers. That said, this is a great portable speaker. We took it on a weekend camping trip and the battery lasted the whole time. It's quick to charge, simple to pair and sounds great. It's a nice camping speaker since it's water resistant and we all know how fast the weather can change, at least here in the mountains of Colorado. Really no complaints and I would certainly recommend to a friend. Nice option for an active lifestyle.

The ION Sports Go Portable Speaker is a very rugged, sturdy Sports Go speaker with a refined look. I charged speaker out of box and was able to preset lots of AM/FM radio stations in the process. I must say that the functions on ION speaker are easily accessible and well placed. A bit disappointed with poor static and reception on some FM stations that I thought would come through with better audio sound even when turning volume up. When I tested the Bluetooth function it worked superbly with quick connection and recognition. I was able to listen from Apps on Smart Phone to playlist from Spoitfy and TuneIn radio station with a crisp, clean treble and bass playback. I also connected wireless ear buds to USB outlet for a quick charge.Overall the ION Sports Go Portable Speaker can handle outdoor events through many devices Bluetooth connection and NFC pairing with a bonus MIC Input for some karaoke entertainment. A very good, budget minded portable speaker .

The portability (size) and functionality are fine; however, the extra features such as AM FM radio are wanting. There is no way to go directly to an AM or FM channel. One must keep pressing the search arrows (which progress up or down 10 frequencies per touch) till the desired station is reached. Though it remembers frequencies, it is portable and traveling and seeking a new station -- it is time consuming, hence frustrating. The power on switch has a lag, and must be pushed multiple times to turn the system off or on. Blue tooth worked extremely well, and paired immediately with my iPhone and iPad. Sound quality was okay, with good bass, but so so tweeter. I like the implementation of the rechargeable lead acid battery for many hours of use before using AC to recharge (and nice to be recharging while using AC plug). Finally, this is a portable PA Speaker, but does not come with even an inexpensive microphone ( that is a mistake to be rectified IMHO).

Let me get this out of the way immediately. This speaker is best suited for small to mid size gatherings and events. For it being a 20-watts speaker, the sound quality is hit or miss. In a small area with the volume at mid, the sound quality was quite good. Once I took it to an outdoor pool setting and set the volume to max, the sound quality took a noticeable dip with it definitely being loud, but distorted. Bluetooth pairing with my android phone was as simple as pairing it with a headset. I also tried recharging my phone with the USB port, and while it didn't utilize quick charge tech to make it fast, it did it's job. My last test was the IPX4 rating. I took it to the lake and put it through mild splashes and poured a 16 oz drink over it. I wanted to see how water resistant it really was, so when I came home, I prepared a bucket of rice, and then immersed the speaker in water for roughly 5 seconds. Amazingly enough, it survived. I turned it on, played some music, then buried it in the rice just in case. All in all, it's a great speaker with some minor sound quality issues at max volume. It's great for trips and events.

Reception is poor. There are stations thst come in scratchy that in my car I can get clearly 40 miles away. It'll be useless for the beach like I wanted to use it for, too bad.
