Looks like i could drop it and beat it up and it can take it. Not flimsy at all. Love the display and the ease of use volume dial. Easy to link and ready to go from the box. Cons: the sound was missing some low end. I compared it to the ONN Large party speaker and this one fell short. Even with the bass boost I felt it could not hang with the low end bass. The price was higher and i feel i can get more bang for my buck. I returned.
