Sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your Sport XL. Please be sure that both the source (BT device, or Aux input) volume and the speaker volume are both increased. The source should not be at 100% as that could cause distortion, if you are receiving poor audio quality, please turn down the source volume slightly and raise the Sport XL's speaker volume. Remember to press the main volume knob to toggle between speaker volume and microphone volume. And as such, if they are stored without a charge for long periods, they can quickly lose capacity. This may have happened while on the shelf in the store, and we would be happy to replace the battery if that did happen. We recommend being sure to charge the speaker fully before any extended periods of disuse, and if you are storing the product for more than a month or two, be sure to power it on after 4-6 weeks, use the device, and then fully charge again before storing longer.
