I absolutely love this portable bluetooth speaker. It's easy to operate, and gets very loud. It's an attractive item, and maneuvers easily on wheels.

I use this speaker for every event. I have had it for over a year and have only had to charge it a handful of times. It is so convenient and easy to lug around.

love this speaker ! it produces loud clear sound the battery does last along time. i take it to work to the lake snow and still going hard . it can link to other ion speakers so you can have a crew of speakers bumping lol over all great speaker . its worth the money .

Speaker works great indoor and out! Battery life is great. We took the speaker to the beach and used very frequently at parties and family get togethers.

This thing has good sound, great battery and is lots of fun at gatherings. I've used it for karaoke, at a block party and Halloween parties. Its really easy to use.

I was not happy with the ion portable speaker. We bought it for an outdoor event. I set it up the night before and it seemed to work perfect. However, when I took it outside it completely failed us. We had two main problems. 1) the brand new mic lasted about 30 seconds. Then it cut out. I worked with it and the very thin wire was lose where it connected to the microphone. Honestly, it is a very cheap microphone and if this were the only problem I would have just bought a better mic. 2) The main reason I returned the unit was because the Bluetooth connection. It says 100ft, however, it started disconnecting from my iPhone at only 3ft away from the unit. It only worked well if I set my phone on top of the unit. I tried with my daughters phone and experienced the same. I tested it again at home later. Inside a room, it would start breaking up between 5-7ft and would completely disconnect at 10-12ft. In contrast to my JBL portable speaker that will stay connected to my phone beyond 100ft. One positive thing I will say is the Best Buy return was very easy. Since I live 3 hours from a Best Buy store, I was able to print out a return label and send it back for a full refund. I am very grateful for that because the product absolutely failed to meet any of our expectations. I would also add that the sound quality and battery life seemed positive. If you want to buy your own mic and only use with your phone sitting on top of the unit, it would work for you. Note to Best Buy, I bought this thinking it would be of good quality coming from Best Buy. The poor quality of this product makes Best Buy look bad. I would be upset with ion for their product being of such poor quality.

Great speaker great sound ran on 1 charge 8 hours and next day 8 hours and I could go more but decided to charge it

I usually don’t write reviews but I had to for this ION speaker it is amazing. Loud, but clear sound, great for a back yard party. As clear as a bell.

Bought it to get ready for the holidays. It gets really loud and has an amazing batter life. Used it for a few hours and the battery hasn't lowered by much. Definitely seems to live up the the hype of 40+ batter life, even at a high volume. It is great that it comes supports microphones as it makes karaoke night great. I do wish there were settings for the mic such as echo but I can live without it.

Solid outdoor speaker for block parties and family movie nights under the stars. Rugged and solid construction. Great battery life.

Had a 100W SONY that broke. I bought this and was surprised how much better of a speaker it actually was. You cant beat the price of it either!

Like that it has a radio on it too and has great sound quality and good battery life, we like taking it on trips to the beach and sitting it out by our pool

Good sound for the money. Easy to connect. Battery is very good, I still haven’t charged it since we got it and we have used it five or six times… total duration of at least 6 hrs. Good for karaoke

Bought this speaker for a party and for camping and has really impressed me. The app is easy to use and I love the fact that it has an equalizer to adjust lows,kids and highs. Battery power is unbelievable and has lasted through two different partys and a camping trip. Sound is great and gets pretty loud when needed, great product for the price.

I have loved Ion Speakers ever since the days of my original Block Rocker because they are "raw" speakers that sound as good as I tune them and the original Block Rocker App had really fun sound FX's. I have 2 big 8 inch woofers to work with because if you buy 2 they link in stereo and my phone has a 9 channel equalizer. I had a pair of last year's Sport XL's but bought these new ones for the extra 20watts each. Same price but huge improvement. There is a new App that I was reluctant to use at first but I now love it. I found if I flatline the eq on my phone and use the eq on the app it makes tuning a lot easier. Low, mid and high on the app. I despise presets Jazz, Pop, Rock. After a month of experimenting I found if I drop the low on the app to 1/3 I can use the Bass Boost at full volume. It sounds really broad like it is being played on an LP record. Crazy fun and loud with older tracks. New digital volume display and when linked the volume automatically matches on both speakers and you can adjust it with the app without getting up. Just turn it up all the way on your phone and the speakers . The bluetooth range is improved as well by a lot. They roll smoother and the handle is longer too. Just a huge upgrade in one year. My single 50w Block Rocker ruled the beach for years but now I am up to 240w. Oh yeah, totally rain proof now too. Best Buy is considered a life line to those of us Overseas.

Bad a lil speaker right there. Havent used the karaoke microphone yet but dont put it passed me. Its light, easy to move an use plus good quality sound works great for river play or at the ball field

I wanted something to play music out in my pool area. This was a very good solution. Sounds great and has the plus of being portable. As a bonus I was able to use points to purchase.
