I've purchased every kind of phone mount and they are all a mess. One went into my AC vent and then melted into it (yuk). Another kept falling off my windshield (dangerous). This one is great! It mounts easily in my never-used CD slot. It's at the perfect level where it's not blocking the windshield but I don't have to take my eyes off the road. I liked it so much I bought two!

The iOttie is easy to assemble and to install in the CD player. Keeps my phone steady and easy to see, to answer, and to adjust. Usually when I am traveling I am continuously looking down to see the directions on my phone but with the iOttie I can just glance over. I would recommend this product for those who use the cup holder or suction style phone mounts. Love the iOttie!

This simple CD slot installed clamp is the best cell holding device ever made. When installed, your mobile device becomes part of the instrumentation panel and won't obstruct or clutter the dashboard. In the vehicle I have, it is perfectly positioned where the temperature and audio controls are located and all of that remains accessible. What a great tool!

This item was suggested by a Best Buy associate and turned out to be the best option of anything I had tried previously. The insert into the CD slot works very well and the position of the phone is not in your driving field of vision. Holds the phone firmly. Don't get this if you still play CDs (you won't want to take it in and out.) Bought one for my wife's car as well!

This thing is great, turns an obsolete CD player on my dash into something useful. I love the fact that it doesnt block my line of sight while driving.. Not having to mount something on the dash or stick a suction cup to a windshield ( those always fall eventually!) made this product even more appealing. I used a pop socket and a self adhesive plastic mount to hold my phone in my last vehicle... Was difficult to clean the adhesive residue off when i needed to trade it in....This little device solved that problem for my new car. My only complaint is that it blocks a few buttons. Very minor inconvenience... The aux button and menu selection buttons are not accessible for someone who would be trying to use them from my passengers seat, but I can control everything just fine with the buttons on the steering wheel. Overall, i'm super happy with this purchase. $25 well spent.

Really like this phone holder. Automatically adjusts to you phone size and holds phone in almost any position you want securely. Had a vent holder which fell off constantly and made my phone hot or cold depending on whether I had ac or heat on. This one doesn’t jiggle and doesn’t get in the way. Easy to remove if u want to play a cd but I don’t do that much anymore.

This product solved my problem of not having a good place to put my phone while driving. It was easy to install and fits very securely in my CD player. My phone fits snugly in and has not fallen out of the mounting yet. It's very easy to use and I am lucky that in my car it does not block any necessary radio or AC controls. I would definitely recommend this product .

This is hopefully my last purchase of a hands-free device since Georgia law mandated this a few months ago. Saw this in a co-workers car. Holds my iPhone 7 Plus snuggly. No need to worry about suction cups giving way during a drive. Only drawback is the squeaky noise that it makes for a few seconds each time I start my car. Could just be the CD player as well.

I totally love this mount. I don't use my CD player anymore so I don't have to remove it, but if I did I don't think it would be an issue. The device was easy to assemble, it's sturdy and adjustable to viewing in different positions. The only thing I have to watch out for is my phone blocking my back-up camera. Otherwise, it's so worth the investment.

I was skeptical that this product would actually hold my phone and not damage my CD slot. I didn't want to attach one to the air vents so after much research and reading tons of reviews, this is the product I settled on. It holds my phone snugly, doesn't slip around & I totally needed to install this in my car before the new hands free laws in GA take effect July 1.

It took me a long time to find a good car mount until I stumbled across this! I don't use my CD player in my car anymore, so it didn't cause any loss of use. The greatest thing is that this mount stays put and doesn't drop my phone or cause any damage to my car. Highly recommend if you have a CD player you don't use!

Have been looking for a phone mount for my iPhone that worked well without having to attaching one to the dash. I also did not want to apply a magnet to back of my phone. This is one is so much better than all the vent mounts I have tried and have ended up returning. It's secure and the perfect level to see without looking down.

This is super easy to use and install. You don’t even need to read the direction, tho it comes with one. It’s a bit finicky when taking the phone off of it if you are using a bigger phone like iPhone plus but still works tho. It is super tight so that the phone doesn’t rattle when u drive. 360 directional. Just great!

The slot mount phone holder works well. The phone taps in very easily and it feels secure within the mount holder The knob head on the phone holder allows you to move the phone in any direction for better viewing. I gave it four stars for two reasons: first, it is a bit awkward to remove the phone (you have to press in the release buttons on each side of the holder and with my phone it’s hard to do this with one hand without dropping the phone). I need two hands to do this—not that big of a deal but thought I’d mention it. Secondly, I have an 2003 Honda Accord and the CD slot is right above the volume knob on the radio. The lever that secures the slot phone holder cannot be pushed in all the way due to the radio volume knob being in the way. The lever also makes it hard to turn the volume up and down because it rests just above the turn dial. Those of you with this type of set up will understand fully what I mean. Because of this, the phone is not 100% secure and can fall out if you hit a unexpected bump. This is a problem with the Accord so another vehicle may not have this problem.

Really great phone holder for the car! It fits perfectly in the CD slot and holds on to the phone with no issues! I also have a popsocket on the back of my phone and I am still able to attach it with no issues. It's very sturdy even during bumpy car rides! Well worth it!

I purchased a new phone and purchased this product to replace and older magnetic mount. I no longer use the CD player in my car so this works well. If you still use your CD player you probably will not like this style. It works surpringly well on several different phones. Reasonable price, works well, polite staff.

I purchased this item, because I got tired putting my Iphone X in my cup holder while driving. I would have to connect the charging cable at the bottom, pointing up, and I would loose the use of one of my front cup holders. If you don't use your CD player, and stream all your music, this item is perfect for you. I have the OEM radio in Audi Q3, and for where the CD slot is, it makes it perfect reach for dialing and answering my phone. Also with a 1mm lighting cable, it makes it very pleasing look at and doesn't make it look clutter. Construction is sturdy and the slide grips my Iphone securely with out damaging the case. Highly recommended. Best of all, I got full use of my cup holders again.

I really like this product. It holds my phone good, has never fallen do to hitting pot holes. It also keeps my phone out of my driving view, therefore I see the road and traffic great. I suggest the manufacturer make an optional attachment for smart phones in a OtterBox. I have a hard case and this holder works with it.

It does the job. Holds the phone securely and can be adjusted easily. It was simple to set up and has not budged from my CD player slot. My CD player does not work anymore which is why it did not bother me that the cd slot is blocked. It is also easy to remove if you need to play a cd.

I purchased a cell phone holder over the internet and it couldn't grip the larch protective case on my Samsung S9. This grips the phone securely and I don't have to mount it with a suction cup to the dash or windshield. The only drawback is that I can't use my CD player when using this devise.
