This works great for me. It fits my CD slot perfectly. The car doesn't have an LED screen, so it doesn't interfere with a screen. Don't have to worry about cold air in the summer or hot air in the winter blowing directly on my phone. I don't have a problem with my phone falling out of the bracket.

I don't use my vehicle's CD player and this device works very well in it. I use it with my cell phone and portable navigation unit. It can be removed if desired as it has a latching mechanism that locks/unlocks it when in place. It is strong and can handle normal road vibrations.

This-"Easy One Touch CD Slot Mount for cell phones" does exactly what it says it will do. Assembly and installation are very easy and very quick. The main reason I chose this CD Mount over the dashboard or vent styles were: 1. Regarding the dashboard style, I wondered about "bumps" in the road. I was concerned that multiple drives over a bumpy road would cause the dashboard style to eventually come lose. 2. Regarding the vent style, I wondered how blasting heat through the vents (in the dead of winter) would effect my iPhone. We all know high heat & electronics don't mix. So, when considering the CD style, I saw no "downside". I seldom use my CD player and all my music is easily accessible on my iPhone. My only questions remaining were: 1. Is this gadget a piece of crap that will fall apart easily? 2. Is it "secure/stable" once installed in my CD player slot? 3. Will the side clamps securely hold onto my iPhone? I'm happy to tell you that it is "fairly well" made. Considering the price, I'd say the quality matches the price. It sits securely inside my CD player and the side arm clamps have a good hold on my iPhone. One final comment: I had a Phone Stand on the back of my iPhone. It had to be removed in favor of a different style because it was preventing my iPhone from "sitting" deep enough inside the "side arm-clams" for the strongest hold. Replacement was no big deal. Just something you should keep in mind if you have a finger-stand on the back-side of your cell phone.

this phone holds is great in my son's Focus ST. He uses his phone and Ford SYNC for music so did not need the CD player. Uses his iPhone 8+ GPS a lot as he travels and this holder perfectly positions it in the middle of the console. very stable. very easy to install.

By far this is the best phone mount. If your car has a cd slot, this goes in the cd slot. You can easily take your phone on and off from the mount. I wish I bought this mount sooner and didn’t wasted money on other ones. If you’re reading this trust me on this.

It fits nicely into the CD slot in both of my cars where it doesn't block the vent or expose the phone to hot/cold blowing air. Easy to set up. I really like the way that when I just touch my phone to the surface it grabs the phone quickly, easily, and securely.

I brought this item after the one I brought awhile ago that had a glue base that came off and left a mess on my dash board. This product holds tight in my CD player and it moves to any direction I need it to while not interrupting my driving.

The case as well in the city player it fits any size phone I’ve had it for seven years and it still works as well as when I first purchased it. Sleeve is flexible to accommodate phone and also loosens and Tightens easily.

I've been looking for a nice, sturdy phone mount for a while and decided to give this a try. I quickly assembled it and stuck it right in my car's CD slot and tightened it in place. The mount's design allows for easy use. I'd recommend this to a friend.

I love this mount for my phone/gps. It fits in the cd slot, which is fine with me since I use my Ipod. It's stable, easy to use, and exactly the right height so I don't have to look down to check a map.

The part that holds the phone works great no complaints. But the part that mounts into the CD player is just a little flimsy. Plus if you are next extremely careful it could cause some very minor scratching on the face of your CD player.

So, I bought the dash version and had to return it because my SUV didn't have enough flat surface to secure it to. In its place, I bought this one and I am really pleased with it. Its very secure and easy to use and quite flexible. Totally recommend it.

I was very unsure about a phone holder and don’t have much room on the dash for those fancy ones. This was actually recommended to me though by a manager and I love it. Keeps my phone in place (horizontal or vertical) easy to rotate and release.

Overall this is a great item. The CD insert goes in very easily and secures very snugly. The release and closure buttons work very well. I have an iphone Xs and there are no issues holding it in place. With that said, there are only two points of contact. I would have liked to see third point of contact at the bottom. I think it would have reduce some of the screen vibration. The only other complaint I have is not the items fault. I drive a 2018 Kia Optima. The CD player sits so close to my Radio/Backup Camera screen that when the mount/phone is in the vertical display most of my screen is obstructed. I generally keep everything in horizontal display as it only obstructs about 10% of the display.

So this holder is pretty clutch. Slips into the CD player slot and locks into place for a really stable hold. I’ve made a few road trips with it on already and hasn’t gotten loose around the phone for lock. Pose-able, too

Needed hands free in the car... was worried about dash mount staying adhered and worried about temp if put on air vents... while can’t use CD player with this it has been working well. Seems sturdy and was easy to install.

I bought this mount because the other mounts that go on the vents didn't fit on my 2016 corolla and this one fits pretty well. I never have a problem of it falling off accidentally and it's pretty easy to snap on and off.

Very happy with this cell phone holder. Nobody uses their CD player anymore and I want something more secure than sticking to he dash. It works awesome. Tilts up, down, left, right and holds my 7plus in an otter box securely. Highly recommend.

Had a CD player still in my GM car. Applying this iPhone 8 holder was easy and does the job. It did block my radio volume knob but overall adequate and holds my iPhone8 as I have the waze app on while driving. Stayed in place even driving on curves

very easy to setup , holds the phone pretty solid. But in my car (2015 Nissan Sentra) if you put the phone vertically it pretty much blocks the Sirius radio screen and clock. Other then that I like how well it holds the phone .
