This is an awesome phone holder. It clips in to the vent super easily. It hasn't come off once after repeated uses. The phone goes in to the holder very easily. I like the slim design and one hand easy insert and release.

Not only is this CD slot mount easy to use, it's not bulky and does not take up much space. I was actually surprised that the CD will still play while this is inserted into the player. It holds my phone tightly. I love this product.

This was an affordable alternative to sticking something on the dashboard or window. It's easy to install and holds the phone even on rough roads or bumps. The only drawback is having to remove it for access to CD's in the player.

A great alternative for those who do not want to upgrade to a new deck. If you want to still use your cell phone screen as your god and music player then this is a simple solution. It plugs right into your CD player slot.

I have only used it once and it was sturdy enough for the iPhone 8 Plus. It fits the CD player and is at eye level so I don’t have to move head to see map on iPhone. A quick glance and my eyes back on road ahead.

This product is very easy to install, provided you’re not going to use your CD player very much and it’s stable in the vehicle and actually works really well. I’m glad I got this type instead of sticking something on my window.

Ended up returning this as it wouldn’t work on my Volvo. If your CD player has a bezel around the CD slot, this device may not work as the slat you insert isn’t very deep. In my case, the bezel was too thick and I couldnt get it far enough into the CD slot to allow it to be tightened. It seemed to be well built and came with an adapter for CD slots that might be too tall. I went with the Scosche model, which has the magnetic mount (which I didn’t really want) but works on my car. No problems at Best Buy returning it, just be careful about opening the package and keeping the materials it comes with in case you experience the same issue.

This clipped right into my CD slot and is very stable. I really like the way it clamps automatically and holds the phone. It is very easy to release as well. It feels well built and holds the phone in place. I highly recommend this.

Just bought this and I must say works really well, dislike airvent mounds since my vehicle has unique air vents. Bad experience with window mounds. But this works really well, sturdy, and ready to use for long trips!

Fits well in the DVD slot, but not the CD slot in my 07 MDX. With so little inserted into the slot, it does wobble a bit on bumps and vibrations, but it's not overly annoying. The grip and release mechanism is nice and easy to use.

If you are like most and have no real use for that dusty old CD drive in your stereo, this mount will work. My iPhone never falls out and my GPS is now in a more convenient location. Recommended.

this device works very well, it holds my smart phone so i can see it while driving. i really dont use my cd player that much, so i keep this plugged in all the time. the price was right too.

This works great for my car since the cd drive is high up, near the dashboard. Also got this so I didn't have to block one of my vents like the vent-clip ons. It holds my iphone 6 well. Easy to attach and release.

Simple to slide into an unused cd player. Tried using one attached to the vents but it blocked too much airflow and the airflow made my phone very hot or very cold. Not sure that is the best thing for your phone. Does not cause blind spots like the ones that attach to your window. Gave 4 stars on value because I think all these are priced too high for plastic. Gave 4 stars on quality as there is a little plastic piece that holds up the bracket to compensate for the weight of the phone. No problems at this time but could be a little bigger/stronger to hold the heaver phones up a little more. I still plan on getting another one for our other car if my daughter likes it after using it for a month.

One of the first, actually sturdy, phone holders for my vehicle I've been able to find. The others that offer suction cup solutions simply don't hold to the contours of my vehicles dash. The CD drive, which I have no use for anymore, acta as a perfect anchor to hold my phone directly in my sight without being intrusive or too far to reach. I can tell the components will wear over time and fail, mainly the plastic involved in the swivel components, but for $25, I will buy it again.

I have tried so many phone holders and they all eventually stop sticking or stop working. I love this one, it fits into the cd slot and is secure, easy to put my phone in it and take it out. Love it

I'm using this with an iPhone X in a 2015 Camry, it worked great while staying far enough back from the vents as to not block them. Installation was easy and it is sturdy, I am very happy with this mount.

So far, this product securely holds my iPhone in a case with the expandable side arms. Easy to install and remove in CD slot. Since the product is made of plastic, my only concern is about future breakage.

It is working great for my Samsung S7 edge mobile. It gives good grip and support while travelling on a bumpy road. It is easy to mount in the CD slot and works great for long road trip too.
